The good thing about this hotel is it is very close to Haram Sherief . From King Abdul aziz Gate it is jsut 3 to 4 minutes away on the narrow lane adjacent to LeMedian . the hotel is jsut behing Govt guest house/palace. Very convenient if you are batchelors or solo travellors or young couples. For kids and elderly people, you need to climb about 20meter on 45 degree slope from the ajyad main road. The room given to me was very big with small bath room . Fridge, split a/c in good condition. In p.
all reviews » The Location was quite close to the point where I wanted. Staff was very friendly, Out look was very well maintained, The Baqala (shop) within hotel was very helpful, although charges were a bit extra but not too much. The rooms were very comfortable, quilts, Mattresses, Pillows, Bed sheets, Airconditioning all were excellent. There are only 3 lifts to cater 16 floors and are most of the time busy, but the arrangement of Seating on each floor is very nice. The hotel is a bargain especially while considering the walking distance to the holy mosque. You are probably not likely to get many options for something so close at this price. For those who are budget conscious or with a large family/group, this is the place to stay. The rooms are spacious, clean and most importantly with working full toilet / shower facilities. every thing was good, hotel manager is very nice and cooperative can improve on room service but the location and friendly atmosphere makes it all worth it to stay here. I would recommend this hotel as it is fast to go to haram through this hotel then all the hotels under the big clock. The door staff Mohammad Aleem was extremely friendly and very helpful. He was a great help to us throughout our stay. A very nice person tp talk too. May Allah bless him and his family. Asked twice for cleaning our room/toilet but did not get response. There was dirt under the beds. There was no microwave in the room, but instead there was a electric heater but no utencils. There was no coffee or Tea in the room, I think if provided that would be really good. The short climb up the steep hill to get to the hotel takes a bit of effort and might be difficult for the elderly. cleaning was not great. The front counter staff didn't speak much engish at all. It wasn't easy to communicate except for the fact that we found a native Urdu speaking staff (Mohammad Aleem) who translated our words into arabic for the front. It would have been nice if the staff spoke English. But we still got our communication done. Not bad at all. Nothing. Difficult approach by car. Car parking could be an issue. Nearby building charges sr 25/hr. 1- it is on a hill and you have to hike on it. So it should be mentioned on the site that people with knee problem have to face it. The number of elevators are not enough to shuttle all the accommodators ,especially in the peaks hours and prayer times .It must reschedule properly to minimize the waiting time. - high priced, maybe due to demand - should keep name board in the main road to indicate the lane to take. Approch to hotel is little steep and Old people find it little difficult to climb that portion of hilly like situation needs lttlle attention sothat old people do not get frientened by very look of steep rise, otherwise fine. evrey thing OK. check out timing 1 o clock not practical. The hotel was on a steep hill with unpaved road. Was hard for elderly to climb up hill...only recommend for physically fit individuals Room had not been used in a while so there was a strange smell. Poor piping sometimes led to standing water. Check in time is very late. interruption of water supply just before prayer time. Steep slope, parallel parking on a street with 25% slope tested my driving skill, thrilling. Not suitable for elderly peopleasthereisas Ignt slope which can be a slight taxing...but it's a good work out any ways. Tiny Bed. None of the special requests was taken into consideration. One staff at the counter even refused to extend my stay even though it was eventually done by a different one. Not suitable at all for elderly, sick and pregnant as there is steep climb of around 50 yd. The way up to Hotel is very tiring they must find solution as if old guests will suffer walking from the King Abdul Azeez Road to Hotel door. There's no food service.. Only an exvellent little supermarket down inside the Hotel. in booking com you saaid thr is 4 stars while actualy it is 3 stars?????. We waited for more than 30Min to have our room. Shower a bit on the small side. no news TV channels like BBC or Jazira no restaurant not far away from Haram but there is a really steep slope near hotel I do not advise it to elderly people with health problems because of this steep slope. it is located far high from the road level. Bathrooms are small. No room cleaning in three days stay. Up hill when returning to hotel. small hill front of the hotel so requer power to reach the hotel. Steep hill Small bathroom. The beds are too hard and there is no meal option as available in other hotels of the vicinity. Parking is a major concern and must be addressed. The bathroom was a little bit small, particularly, the shower. hilly steep. steep slope I do not recommend it for elderly.
