  The hotel is maybe not what you expect from 4 stars in Western Europe but for the price and service, I think it is a good deal. We had an executive room (note that minibar is not free in executive and standard rooms - unlike stated below) which was large and spacious, and very clean. The bed is big, the bathroom pleasantly large with a great showe... what people say » r, and there is a small flatscreen tv and table with chairs. In addition, there is a closet for your clothes with plenty of hangers, an iron board and - The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful. They provided directions to the Metro, post office and other places of interest. They arranged tours for us as well as booking reservations for us in local restaurants. The staff were just incredible and so friendly. The breakfast was included in the room and the breakfast was buffet style, with a very large and fresh choice of foods, and they would make eggs / omelettes if requested. We had difficulty with our air conditioner and we advise

Everything is close- the Hermitage, Nevsky prospect, the Dome etc. Staff is very friendly, extremely helpful and polite. I'd like to commend Vasili,- an exceptionally professional receptionist. The hotel is full of character, decorated with taste which becomes the old building in the grand part of St. Petersburg. Very clean, has around the clock self-service stand of coffee and tea in the lobby, good internet connection.

  3MostA has an outstanding location, often only minutes away from Saint Petersburg's one-of-a-kind treasures. I had a solo room for 4 nights and enjoyed a million dollar view of the onion domes of the Church on Spilled Blood. At 2 A.M. I could peek out the room-darkening curtains and find the domes softly lit against the pale twilight. At all hours... what people say » of the day, whether foregrounded by storm clouds to the south or in brilliant sunshine, the domes had a special character. The Moika canal is just a - All the stuffs are very friendly and made my trip enjoyable.If you have any question such as visa voucher and trasportation from the airport(taxi), they give you the answer by email right away. It was very helpful. The room is big enough for one person and well cleaned, and free wi-fi is good, too! The location is perfect. I could walk to many tourist spots, especially the Church of the Savior on Blood is 2-3 mins on foot from the hotel.

Not far away from the subway (beware that the subway station is closed for the reconstruction till october 2013) If you are looking for a cheap place to stay for several nights this will be a very good option. - 1) good location 2) good lobby design
