Location is convinient. Breakfast is OK. I arrived in the morning and immediatelly got a room although coming before check-in time. I appriciate it. It's LOCATION,very good for tourist. One can find an indian restaurent "TANDOORI NIGHTS" near issac church, 20 minuts from the hotel by taxi/bus. Good location in the historical centre, close to railway station, metro and most amenities. The room was clean and quite.

In general, Everything. It was a nice hotel in the center of St. Petersburg, near subway station, which makes very comfortable and easy to get to any point. There are really a lot of places to have a breakfast or lunch ("Чайная ложка" right behind the corner with pancakes and sups, you would spend like 5-6€ for delicious food; "Столовая №1" in the same building, very simple and very cheap, but for the breakfast you even could find russian baking for fair money; "Суши Wok" in front of the hotel with plenty of asian sus. location was good (in the center and very close to the train station) and the price was acceptable; food was not always great but not that bad either. Location! Nar the subway station, two big shopping malls. The location was really great! And thats all. Location, location and only location. Place at the center of the city. Clean, central, easy. Breakfast absence in Oktyabriskaya hotel if you book room in letsbookhotel.com. The heating was working already when we arrived and it was incredibly warm in there. Unfortunately after switching the battery off, the situation was not much better. Of course it's noisy with opened windows, but in general the sound isolation was good. The cleaning of room was not perfect, they didn't vacuum clean, very often were replacing private things, however the towels were every day new. they did not clean our room properly (the lamp was totally hairy from the dust, the room service randomly did or didn't do the beds, put shampoo and soap into the bathroom or not, etc), the bathtub was clogged and the shower head was not mounted properly; I also found it expensive and inconvenient that you also need to pay 2.5 Euro for 24h internet access in the lobby (no internet option in the rooms) - with technologies available now it is really surprising. Not so good breakfast for this money; Ask for street-view room! My room was dark with "nice" view to the backyard and other visitor's windows. The crew was realy rude and they didn't spoke english. The girl on the reception was so rude then when we arriwed she told us that we can't chek-in because its earier than 2 pm actualy it was 1:45 pm so that's it. The bath room was smelly and dirty. Extremely noise in the room because windows look at the Ligovsky Prospect. I booked a studio room with air conditioner but it did not work though the temperature was + 33˚ C outside. Etherethig all. noisy and not very welcoming staff. The room is much smaller than promised ( do not beleive photos). A strange poor air conditioner. No minibar. The hotel asks the prepayment!. not working fitness room, low space inside the room, poor breakfast. I had a hard time trying to contact the hotel staff from my room. You either get no answer, or just the busy tone. The furniture as well as the interior as a whole requires renovation. Awfull breakfast. Try some of the many nearby restaurants and cafes instead. Overprised (more than $200 per night): no air-conditioning, rooms are small. The staff is always in a bad mood because they work 12-hour shifts. At 6am when we departed they had an inexperienced lady in the reception. No ventilation at all! Terrible breakfast organization. Personnel is not trained for service!. One girl at reception with a cold Soviet face... People coming, checking in and out, asking for assistance, etc... She just did not care and spoke on the phone with someone... Reminded me very well of the famous Soviet service. No air conditioner in the room. While the temperature outside +34C. Overestimated price. Breakfast and dinner were auful! The food quality was very low, that is too bad for money we paid for it. There was no double bed despite us mentioning it in booking form (letsbookhotel.com approved that the bed would be double, but at the reception we've been told there were no rooms with double beds). The staff was not rude but indifferent. There was no hot water for the first day of my stay. The heating did not work even though the outside temperature was 12 at the time. Very high price compared to its comfort level and quality. Rude staff, hard to communicate. Dirty, smell, interior, furniture etc.
