  My partner and I loved our stay at Hotel Vera! The reception staff were friendly and helpful in every way and were able to speak English, they happily provided us with transport and city information. The rooms were really lovely and spotlessly clean! There are busses 2 minutes walk from the hotel that run regularly and take - Very conveniently located hotel in Art-Deco style. I received a warm welcome upon arrival from Artyom and was well informed about hotel's facilities. Then dined in the nice and cosy hotel restaurant, where the food tasted very well and service was ok. The room was ok for the 3-star standard and very clean (well, all the public areas of the hotel are kept very clean). Breakfast is very good and serving time is until 11.00. Everything is close- the Hermitage, Nevsky prospect, the Dome etc. Staff is very friendly, extremely helpful and polite. I'd like to commend Vasili,- an exceptionally professional receptionist. The hotel is full of character, decorated with taste which becomes the old building in the grand part of St. Petersburg. Very clean, has around the clock self-service stand of coffee and tea in the lobby, good internet connection.

  Location is amazing, close to everything and in a quite building itself. Staff is very helpful, polite and friendly. Special thanks to Kseniya, Polina and actually to all front desk people. If you need a window in the room, book higher category than economy. - Very comfortable, staff are very friendly. My room on the ground floor was very bright and cozy and moreover it is very very close to Nevskij prospect (I would say directly on the Nevskij pr) and all night was absolutely quietly though.   I arrived by train and by taking Bus number 22 I have arrived at the Hotel an hour after. I had a very warm welcome from Alexander who explained to me all about the Hotel and the area.The room was very nice bed very comfortable and a nice warm bathroom. I totally recommend this Hotel. - I found there everything I needed - a working shower in a huge warm- floore (surprise!) bathroom, warm well furnitured room with a bottle of water for free (surprise!) and it was a real pleasure to have a cup of tea in bed, not in dining room (I asked the receptionist and he allowed me to take it from the ground floor) in the evening. The breakfast is wery reach.
