  I have been staying in this hotel for six days. After long flight from Australia I had great time to relax in a comfort atmosphere. Fantastic! Very welcoming staff, great rooms -brand new and clean. Hotel provides you with dressing gown and slippers. You can have tea or coffee with homemade yamy cakes and pies free of charge any time you wish. Hom... what people say » emade lunch or dinner could be served for very small charge ( AUD $9). Metro station is 7-8 minutes away. One stop to Nevski, prospect. Palace Square - I liked everything, almost. Especially the staff of the hotel and the cleanliness of the room. The design of the rooms is also very attractive. I has a room in black and white which I liked a lot. The food at supper was very good. But unlike it was the case in one of the previous review of the hotel (from Poland), the supper was not free of charge. I paid for it ;)

  staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to do their best by us! considering we did not speak the language, they helped arrange taxis, restaurant requests, etc. - Good location. Nice staff. Comfortable big room. Very near metro Gorkovskaya and Peter and Paul Fortress, you can even walk to Nevskiy Prospekt and Ermitage.

  The hotel is maybe not what you expect from 4 stars in Western Europe but for the price and service, I think it is a good deal. We had an executive room (note that minibar is not free in executive and standard rooms - unlike stated below) which was large and spacious, and very clean. The bed is big, the bathroom pleasantly large with a great showe... what people say » r, and there is a small flatscreen tv and table with chairs. In addition, there is a closet for your clothes with plenty of hangers, an iron board and - The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful. They provided directions to the Metro, post office and other places of interest. They arranged tours for us as well as booking reservations for us in local restaurants. The staff were just incredible and so friendly. The breakfast was included in the room and the breakfast was buffet style, with a very large and fresh choice of foods, and they would make eggs / omelettes if requested. We had difficulty with our air conditioner and we advise
