  We chose to go in early March for our wedding anniverssary. The hotel is located within walking distance (for us 70-year olds) of Peterand Paul fortress and the Hermitage crossing two different pairs of bridges across the Neva in each case. We stayed three nights and there were four different receptionists during that time. Each spoke excellent English, was che - The Hotel is located on the other side of the river Neva. The nearest metro station “Gorkovskaya” is about 10 min. On foot. Therefore it is better to use the bridges and be in the center… So the location is pretty good for walkers. The hotel room was clean and well prepared. Breakfast made a big impression. The breakfast room is a little bit small, but food quality and selection meets the highest expectations.
