We stayed in this hotel at least 3 years in a row, visiting with my family from the United States. The room views are beautiful due to the location up towards cota 1400. Our room was pleasantly sunny in the morning, loved waking up that way. Breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed eating it on the sunny terrace. We love that the hotel is away from the traffic and crowds, but I would not plan staying there without having a car to get to the hotel, walking there from the center could be quite exhaust.
all reviews » Excellent hotel with great service. The views are breathless, every apartment has its own terrace that overlooks the beautiful mountains. Staff was super nice and helpful, breakfast was delish and plentiful. On a beautiful sunny day, breakfast can be served on the sunny terrace. Super convenient for the ones looking to get on the cable car. We enjoyed our stay!. Great service and nice staff. The room is spacious, modern and well equiped. The location is quiet, with nice view, 10 minutes walk from the center. Breakfast was excelent, but too much for most of the people, maybe a buffet style would have been better. The beds were a little hard. There were two single beds set next to each other, rather than one big bed, which could be a problem for a child sleeping in the middle. Hotel seems close to everything on the map, but, if you don't drive, it is quite a long hike up the hills from the main street/ train station. So either take winding roads uphill or a long flight of stairs. If you want to walk, wouldn't recommend to older people or people who have knee issues. All this can be avoided by taking a cab, super cheap and fast. Or, if you drive, this is a non-issue. Bottom line, this was just a remark. Would definitely stay again!. "Cold" staff but polite. no lift. Internet didn't worked in my room for whole stay, despite the fact, that staff tried to fix it. Window lock was broken and wasn't repaired. Caini vagabonzi!. Not good – bad positioning oh the hotel – far from central street and from ski lifts, impossible to reach without car. Hotel stays on the slope – we had to bring up our luggage to the 5-th floor level by stairs. No lift in the hotel. During our staying promised sauna didn’t work, in spite of our requests to switch it on. Staff is ungracious. Received a very aggressive phone call from the hotel management accusing me of using a lot of the minibar and leaving without paying. When calling back to solve this issue, the management stated they mada a mistake however made no apology. The way in which I was spoken to on the phone was disgusting and I will now be using this hotel again, or recommending it to my Romanian friends who travel to sinaia on a monthly basis. Disgusting treatment.
