I had a pleasant stay at Sarroglia. It is a fine hotel in central location, contemporary style with lovely areas. My room was spacious with an extremely comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a big shower. The breakfast was also good at this hotel. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and professional. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Well designed split-level layout of ground-floor entrance/bar/mezzanine with funky decor and laid back atmosphere. Very comfy bed and great shower in superior room. Ten minute walk to centre. Taxis quick to arrive for pick up. Great value for money.
all reviews » Standard of our Superior Room was excellent! Fantastic views, the most comfortable room we've stayed in. Rooftop hot tub was brilliant, with excellent terrace/ seating area. This is without doubt the best hotel I have stated in. A true four star. We booked a suit and it can only be described as spectacular. Breakfasts were good with omlets made to order. Very good hotel, friendly staff, very clean and big rooms. Please use the aiport transfer provided by the hotel (their driver is called Romeo), because regular taxi's are a nightmare. The hotel itself is great, Bucuresti is a terrible city. Beautiful design and individuell in every single room. we loved the jacuzzi :-) breakfast was good, we loved the omelette. Location is excellent just a few minutes from the old town away. Nice hotel and really recommended. We loved that there is an espresso coffee for breakfast, because in most of the hotels they serve for breakfast americano coffee and you have to pay for the espresso one! And please delete messages after check out :-). I have nothing to change about the hotel. They advertised parking but the parking was actually an unused set of parking lifts. There were three dirty spots that had no driveway. These spots were used by employees and not reserved for guests. Part of the reason I chose this hotel was for the advertised parking. The bed is way to hard for my taste (and for my back). Nothing - no negatives. Just to say something: poor breakfast comparing with the quality of the hotel. The air conditioning was a bit confusing but other than that - it was perfect. nothing. Seemed to be missing some usual food itemsor low on stock.. Bar ran out of tea! (Black) no spirits to make a mojito... No ice cream... - a bit far from the center [15-20 min walking]. nothing. The location might be a problem if you want to explore the center of the city. The walking distance to the center is 20+ minutes. The cost is a bit higher compared to others in same category. About 15-20 min walk to the Old Town, which didn't bother us but it may appear inconvenient to others. Limited furniture in the room; not enough hangers for clothes. Staff is not yet sufficient trained but there is a good chane for improvement. breakfast room not really inviting. Nothing. the wall from the bathroom is transparent. - Breakfast ok not great. POOR breakfast even now after so many negative reviews it looks like store shelves before the communism collapse... Maybe that's on purpose? Ok, you will eat but the choice is extremely poor. The breakfast is quite poor. Everything the same things, quite a routine... There was no black tea in breakfast. They even couldn't find. breakfeast. Unstable wi-fi, expensive restaurant, is already a bit worn-out, there are better hotels for the price in Bucharest. restaurant / room menu : not much different choices . A little more variety would be preferable. Air conditioning didn't work, breakfast was poor, staff need hospitality training, definitely not a 4 star hotel.
