The Lapa Palace was perfect. All of the reception staff, the concierges,
down to housekeeping were amazing. Although it was tucked away from some
of the attractions, that was actually a blessing, as you returned to a
enclosed, gardened oasis after walking Lisbon's steep streets. Their
bar and breakfast areas were superb, their laundry service was ... what people say » more
reasonable than our hotel in Barcelona, and, without requesting
expedited service, we had our laundry back within 7 hours of their
pickup! The co -
The hotel was beautiful and just far enough outside the bustle of Lisbon to be quiet, especially the pool, but close enough that it was a short taxi ride to the night life. I love to walk so there were plenty of things to see within walking distance.

Fun, funky and unique hotel/apartments on a quiet street right in
the center of Lisbon. The location can't be beat. It's possible
to walk everywhere from here.
The staff is fantastic. They even left a note and a bottle of wine in our room when they noticed it was one of our birthdays at check-in.
The rooms are really comfortable. The kitchenette was nice for breakfasts. There's also a supermarket not too far away.

Immacculate Hotel. The excellent service but most of all the helpfullness and friendliness of the staff. I have stayed in several hotels or other accommodation in Lisbon and Portugal and am constantly amazed of the poor to no english and unfriendliness of staff. Your hotel has been a welcome change. Wonderful. - I've worked in Lisboa during two ... what people say » months and stayed in some 15 different hotels, among them 10 five star hotels. In spite having only four stars, Sana Lisboa ranks at the to of my list in terms of service and quality. Needless to say, it costs less than the other hotels at the top. Value for money is great!

We loved the modern design of the hotel which was'nt formulaic but totally fresh with a mad men twist with the nice use of wood in the rooms. The service was warm, friendly and the staff were genuinely proud of the the beautiful hotel and area that they represented. -

Really good location for trip: very close to station & not far from Old city. Clean & comfortable room. Breakfast was super for 2** hotel!
Excellent staff - so kind, careful and helpful.
Free Wifi in the room! It was so good surprise, because free wifi isn't very common in hotels of Portugal.
In general this hotel really can pretend to 3***.
I recommend it!

Everything about the place! I've stayed in many hotels all over the world and this is my favorite to date. For a hotel that is located in the center of capital city- it is not expensive. There is a really relaxed atmosphere in the place but never the less there is great attention to detail right down the the smallest -dressing gowns on the bed ... what people say » on your arrival - the range of TV channels - the weighing scales & hair drier in the bathroom - the over all space in the rooms and their decor. This is a lovely hotel; we felt we'd struck lucky choosing it. Our
room was large and airy, the bed enormous, the bathroom spacious. Our
room was quiet enough to sleep in with the window open, but street music
could be heard until late and there were crack-of-dawn deliveries:
closing the windows sealed all external noises out. The hotel stall are
friendly and attentive. The hotel's on the corner of a quiet square
with good restaurants and bars around it. There is a pleasant corner

A very elegant hotel on beautiful grounds. The staff is wonderful, the rooms and baths well done to the smallest detail. The hotel is a period treasure with tasteful appointments throughout. The gardens, too, are beautiful even in February with magnificent views of the surrounding area. The hotel provides a beautiful setting for the cultural heritage of Sintra.
The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were a delight, ever helpful and justifiably proud of the region.
