We loved the hotel, it was very clean & comfortable. The decor of the room was fabulous. Even though we only stayed one nite te staff were very helpful & cheerful making us feel very welcome. It was close to all the tourist attractions & great restaurants. A very quaint place like something out of an old movie which we liked with lots of character and atmosphere. If we return to Lisbon we will definitely stay here again. Close to walking to the old town, culture and restaurants. If you have a car the lot across the street as 12.90 e. a day and the sign for the hotel is up behind trees so look up.

Villa das Rosas was a quiet relaxing oasis in the busy town of Sintra. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. We had the "Garden Room" which was a cool retreat to return to after a day of walking, beautifully decorated mainly in white. There were tea and coffee making facilities (unusual in Portugal) and complementary water.
