Excellent location. Don't rely on on-line maps! (Easy 15 minute walk to Central Metro and Train stations and the same again to the old city area). Excellent value for this location compared to others nearby. Warm, comfortable room and quiet nearby too. Breakfast room/kitchen area and supplied food stuff, milk, Tea/Coffee ect, perfectly adequate and also ideal for self-catering. Perfect hostel for a short stay. Good for singles, couples or adult groups only though.
all reviews » Good location. Breakfast was not excellent but it was appreciated, and also great for the price you pay. Also, there was young and welcoming staff (unlike in other hostels where you find bitter-face people not keen to help). Pleasant stay overall. In every floor, there are rooms, kitchen/common area as well as shared toilets and showers, which is good, so guests do not need to change floor to do a wee in the middle of the night. It is really good idea that all rooms have name connected to a title of the movies and most popular tv channels, but not all graffitis on the walls look good. It makes very special climat in all spaces in the hostel. - girls at the reception were nice & pretty - just in the city centre, only 5 minutes walk from many clubs & pubs at Mazowiecka Street - for that price it is a nice offer. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They really try hard to keep everything clean. good location; breakfast is nice (cereals and sandwiches); free towel; hairdryer; wi-fi. Very nice location for young people who like going out (very short to the center) Clean, new looking rooms (with nice themes). Room was really nice and cozy. Nice design. Very close to city centre and the main attractions. A lot of restaurants nearby. The staff was really good - they spoke very good English and were really helpful. Nice private room, clean, kitchen facilities, maps of the city available at reception, close to Central Station, shopping area and the University. The best thing about this hostel is location. Walking distance to everything. The location was great. The staff was very friendly in trying to get us clean linen, but the room was just to filthy. They did give us a refund. The bathroom and kitchen were clean however. The hostel did not respect the reservation - provided different room settings and did not want to make modifications. No prevoius informations given as well. With only these reviews to go by, I booked for seven nights here. I'd stay again, but only for a shorter trip, as the shared bathroom/shower facilities (8 rooms on the 02nd floor) may annoy some with there lack of privacy. Breakfast area with seats for 8, again, may annoy some at busy times of the year. Fortunately, my stay was at a very quiet period for the hostel. The hostel occupies 3 floors of a 5 (maybe) floor building and despite having a 'security guard' 24 hours at the entrance, they leave each floor's main door wide open. Also, it is a bit bad when the hostel gets (as in my case) massive groups of teenagers. Even if individual guests and twin/double rooms have been located in the first floor which is brand new and quieter, you have all these noisy people around. Not a problem, just a comment. Breakfast was poor. Apparently there is a night club somewhere around and the night I spent there the walls literally were shaking because of the bass. Drain in one of the showers was clogged. Breakfast was really basic, when we arrived there were only 2 slices of ham and 1 slice of cheese left, and it seemed like no one would refill if you didn't ask for it. You had to wash the dishes after eating !! Towels are not included in price (even if you book the more expensive room). Single room was OK, but the mattress is very old. General entrance to the building was dingy and dirty. Note that towels are not supplied. - very modest breakfast - no free towels - there was no water on a whole day because of "construction work". Noisy at night - thin walls, shouting at night and companies having parties till early morning. Sometimes the internet connection went bad. No heating - freezingly cold!. Lacks atmosphere and the bathrooms aren't great. Hostel could be cleaner. The room was just filthy. Hairs in the linens, the rug may have never been cleaned, the pillows once white, are now orange in stains. I do not believe the room has been dusted either in months. The elevator is frightening. We checked out the first night and spent the extra money on a decent hotel. poor hostel - dirty, located at not the best neighbourhood (it's 25 min walk to the old town) and the walls are really thin, so it's impossible to sleep. fsff.
