My third visit to the 1231 Hotel in Torun. Highly recommend it to you. Not too big. 25 rooms. Fully air-conditioned rooms with free wi-fi access. Very clean. New hotel in a very old converted mill-house. Food is excellent and prices very reasonable. Large out-side sitting area next to stream than runs thru the hotel grounds. English speaking staff. Very helpful, very nice. Torun a great place for a week-end break. Medi-evil centre with outside street bars and restaurants etc. - Philip

The hotel is located in the old town of Torun but slightly away from the main busy market place so it is a very nice quiet place. Within walking distance to all the main turist atractions and restaurants. Recently renovated, clean, modern and with a lot of character and charm of an old medival building. The hotel also overlooks the ruins of an old Tutonic castel what creates a very romantic atmosphere. Very friendly English speaking staff. We stayed for one night only but would definately stay t - Helen

We highly recommend this new hotel, perfectly located in the delightful Old Town of Torun - one of the world's best-kept secret destinations. Everything is well fitted out and spotless, the staff are pleasant (and fluent in English) and the restaurant as well is very good.
