Booked the hotel with my partner on the basis of the reviews read on this site. All I've got to say is , WOW! From the moment you walk in and your luggage is whisked to your room, to the moment you leave this hotel is an experience you don't want to miss. The room allocated was room 45 on the 4th floor , again WOW! The view of the square is wonderful even if there is major works going on around and in the Cloth hall . Hi - I have just returned from another 4 day trip to Krakow (we went last year and stayed at the Novotel - see my review from last year if you are interested). I travelled with my hubby and our 14 year old daughter. This is a fantastic hotel - our room was a business class room on the 5th floor with a rollaway bed for our daughter. The room was large, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed including robes, slippers, coffee machine and nice toiletries etc. The views from the love - Stephen

The apartment we stayed in was number 24 on the groung floor near the office, it was spotlessly clean, the beds were basic but comfortably with extra bedding if required, the apartment was large and provided everything you could need and the shower was fab. The office staff were very helpful and arranged all our trips for us. We were a tad wary of what to expect having read some reviews of the Hotel. Don't be; the location is fantastic for walking around the Old Town, and the hotel rooms were very clean & well serviced. We found the staff to be very courteous and helpful. For the convenience of location you do have to accept that you are close to the main square so you must expect some noise. My sister and I are two students and have just returned from our trip to Poland. Hotel Classic is excellent - only 5 minutes away from the Old Town and the hotel staff are very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, whatever age wanting to stay in Krakow. The walking tours are very good and the guides are passionate and informative about the city. I would throughly recommend doing this particularly the one of the Jewish Quarter which takes three hours. The salt mine is a must and you - Jun

The Bonerowski Palace is the most initmate and gracioius of places to stay in Krakow. It is right on the historic square only steps away from St. Mary's Basilica and has its beginnings in 1514. There are only 10 rooms and 4 apartments for a maximum of 28 people at any one time in the hotel. The service is flawless, and the rooms are beautifully appointed in an "Old Krakow" style. We stayed at this hotel for five nights in October. As good a city hotel as I have stayed at. The rooms are all individually furnished and our room-205- was reasonably large and comfortable with everything we needed. The hotel has complementary web access using their computer on the second floor lobby. Breakfast was good, with a large selection and several hot items cooked to order. We stayed at Hotel Pod Roza for four nights (Mon-Thur) in July 2008 and found the hotel to be cool and peaceful. The rooms were spotlessly clean, light and airy. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Bathroom was immaculate with an excellent shower and the whirlpool bath was an added bonus after a long day of constant walking. The dining room is lovely. Very good location about 500m from the station. The airport has a shuttle bus outside arrivals which takes you to a train,which goes into Krakow. 6 zloty. The hotel staff are all very pleasant. The room we had was in the quiet part at the back of the building. Beautiful bathroom and good sized room. A little stark but very clean. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. It has its own restaurant and bar which is good especially after a tiring day and only having to walk down the stairs. The hotel - Harry

A group of 17 of us have just returned from spending 4 nights at this hotel. Having emailed the hotel in advance of our stay, they not only reserved rooms for us, but arranged other things to for us in advance, eg, Airport Transfers; Trips to Auschvitz/ Birkenhau and another day The Salt Mines at Wieliczka for those who wanted to go and finally , hiring bicycles for some of us on another day. to do, The hotel was very helpful and arranged everything in advance for us at a very good price! We stayed for two nights at the Hotel Stary in Krakow. The hotel is just off the main square in Krakow - an excellent location. Despite being so central, the hotel was quiet and relaxing. The hotel is very well decorated - clean and contemporary. Our room was wonderful - granite sinks, big jakuzzi bath with Molton Brown. The room was finished in dark wood and trendy slate lamps. My husband was in Krakow on business and as it was our wedding anniversary, he asked me to join him. I cannot imagine a finer place to be for such an occasion. The hotel itself is a fusion of 12th century history and modernity, and the two have been so skillfully married with a stunning addition of a glass atrium. We booked this hotel via the phone en route to Krakow and were offered a "last minute" deal of 360 Zloty for the night including breakfast. Check-in was amusing. A team of three very polite staff did what one person would do in the West. When we were shown our room, we were absolutely delighted. It occupied a corner position and featured a huge lounge room complete with large office, separate entry and bedroom.
