Greater Poland Hotels

Good hotel but a little tired and dated. However, rooms are spotless and service is excellent. Stayed here on B&B terms for 3 nights in October. Rooms are clean and tidy, furniture is a bit on the old side but far better than some places I've stayed. Bathrooms are compact, beds are comfy but the pillows do "collapse" and could be uncomfortable for some. Was booked in here as Domina was closing. I have never felt more comfortable ay any hotel anywhere. Room was huge by european standards. Computer downstairs. Room was very clean and luxerious. Of my 2 weeks in Poland the most comfortable nights were spent here. Yes I would stay here again - Felicity

The room was just amazing. Big, clean, new, excellent! I recognize the curtain problem. We also missed one curtain to cover one of the many windows. On the ceilingwindows there were curtains allright, so they learned already. The smell was still a bit new and at times not pleasant. Breakfast is being served in the room, where you can make your own tea and coffee to it. What you can't eat you can put in the refridgerator and take it as lunch. I have been in Poznan for few days and stayed in Hotel System Premium. This is good proposal for buissness trip - like mine. Fairly cheap, good food (italian cuisine) and very modern inside - computers, free internet almost everywhere. Enjoy your stay there! :) - Pamela

found the rooms a little boxy, but nonetheless, modern, very comfortable beds, English football live on canal plus sport, huge bathtubs, good sound proofing and only eight mins walk from the old town. what didn't I like? I had a room facing the back, and found it very, very dark. mini-bar not refilled over three days, Do Not Disturb sign ignored one morning, problems controlling the heating/air con, can't say I was too impressed with the food from room service. those are little niggles. - Steven

Great to be back again at the Sheraton Poznan. If this hotel can get everything so right, why do others find it so difficult? The location is perhaps the only thing that could be better, but then Poznan is not such a big city and the old town is within walking distance. The staff, the cleanliness, facilities, room, bathroom, walk-in shower, breakfast. It is a truly remarkable - I wish that others could be this good, it would make travel so much more enjoyable. The staff were aware that a group of English visitors were about to descend on them for a nearby wedding. They were kind enough to organize as many English speaking staff to be on duty as possible for our 5 day stay. They were extremely helpful, even booking appointments at the nearby beauty salon and getting taxi's to go to our varied destinations. When a member of our party sustained an injury (from the wedding reception- not held here), the staff helped to liase with the doctors and the patie - John

Visited this hotel as a City Break (whilst husband away!) Read loads of reviews and, it certainly lived up to them. The Royal Hotel is a cosy hotel, centrally placed and full of character. It only takes about 10 minutes to drive from the airport to the hotel (under 20 pzl - about £4.00), and is about 10 minutes easy walking to the old town centre. The staff (apart from one moody blonde) were lovely - especially Joanna (long dark hair and pretty), who was very helpful. My friend and I had a twin - Maria

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The receptionist, Ania, was so kind and helpful, she made our trip that much better. Their business center is free and everyone is there to help you and make your trip better. The restaurant is very good and it is a great place to stay. - Ian
