The room was very big and we had a separate living room and bedroom which was really nice. The hotel is close to the train station and can be reached in a matter of minutes. The old town is also a nice walk away and our room had a really nice view of an old zoo. If you are planning to visit a Lech Poznan game, the location is perfect as it is right by a tram and bus stop which brings you directly there. The breakfast was OK, good coffee, meat and cheese but perhaps not worth 30pln. The decor in.
all reviews » The staff were unbelievably accommodating. I had to change my booking as the airline had cancelled my original flight; this was no problem whatsoever to the very helpful staff. The location of the hotel was also excellent; right next to the old zoo and only a fifteen-minute walk from the square. Location Old World charm, although the hotel had been recently refurbished. The breakfast was quite good and it gave us an opportunity to meet and talk to other guests. excellent location, 15 min. walk to main railway station, 30 min. to Old Town, very friendly staff, decorated in art nouveau style - very cosy and original. Parts of the room were slightly dusty and the bar was closed on Friday and Saturday night when I wanted a night cap. Aside from those three minor complaints the hotel was perfect and exactly as I expected. We had a certain amount of difficulty finding the hotel - OK in the summer, not so good in the winter. We had heavy cases it made the search more unpleasant than if we were looking without cases. breakfast is extra paid, 30 PLN / 10 USD. The restaurant, although a different company still handles communist standards: an experience for those to want something different! When entering their first question was : "Do you have Money?" To avoid for those used to normal standards!. Nothing. Restaurant open from 6pm only. The breakfast is expensive for Poland. Breakfast choice a bit limited. Location a bit of a walk from city centre. The costs from my credit card were immediately blocked after booking. Upon arrival I paid cash for my stay in hotel But on the next day hotel withdrew money from credit card. Now I am waiting... The room was not cleanes throught the whole time of our staying there. The cleaning products & toilet paper were never supplied once left on the first day of our arrival.No Wi-Fi available in the rooms. At present there are major reconstruction works between hotel & city centre - but hopefully once completed you should be access city centre ( by foot or tram ) more easily. The rooms are small and the beds are hard. Wifi - you get your internet connection only if you are lucky. Heating - they are trying to save some money, so be prepared that you will be freezing the entire night and day. Evening staff was not very friendly. Bed - the mattress has been there for ages. I can´t imagine staying here again.
