The staff, especially Justyna, the manager, were extremely helpful. Not only did Justyna help us tremendously when we realised the night before we were due to arrive that we had overbooked by 1 night, she also helped in coordinating our tours to the concentration camp and the salt mines. Plus, the apartment was a mere 1 min walk from the main square, where all the hustle and bustle of the city is. The air-con was a welcome relief from the summer heat. all reviews » The unit we are staying called Amigos. It is perfect for family with young children. My kids enjoy the toys and game console which came with the apartment. It is also easy to buy groceries for cooking as shop is nearby. The area is so lively at night. There are six of us, and complete bed for everybody (no sofa bed etc). The location is perfect for tourist. It is so beautiful and lively. We did like the good personal service provided by Kasia and Justyna, we felt very wellcome. I have no complain but I know some would not like the fact that we share same entrance with 2 bars and the bar patrons would use the walk way as place for them to smoke. Another thing is there is no lift/elevator so it will be tough to bring your luggage upstairs. As 6 of us travel to 8 countries, so we have 4 big luggage. It is tough but still it don't take away the good things we enjoyed at Sleeping in Krakow. Fellow travellers coming home in the morning and making noise - ear plugs helped. And can I complain if I have to carry my own luggage up - own fault packing too many things with me. It didn't bother me but you have to be aware that the block shares the main entry with a pub, it is very loud at night time. If you are use to the city noise it will be fine for you but if noise bothers you that might be a problem. No elevator, so it was heavy to carry up all the baggage. all the steps up to the flat. we booked a 2nd floor and got a 3rd, also didn't have air conditioning that it said it had in the booking form. nothing. Stairs up to apt with no lift is very hard with luggage. Downstairs bar opened all night(sat night 13/07/13) Drunks hanging about all night and early morning making troble. In real the appartment does not look like as good as on photos. Wery slow wireless internet connection!. apartment was not ready on arrival even though we arrived well after check-in time. overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke each morning because of the nightclub 3 floors below. not suitable for non-smokers or first time visitors to the city in my opinion.
