I travelled so many cities, and stayed many different hostels, but this will be one of the best hostels. location is 5min from central station,so you can walk, and also 5-10min from old town. it's a small but clean and specially shower booth was one of the best brand new one with lots of functions, you will enjoy it. Also last year, I stayed hostel near old town (indeed, it's in oldtown, near pub street), I wasn't able to sleep after 2am as lots of tourists are drinking and making big noise a.
all reviews » I spent three nights here and I must say I have felt at home. I got hot water, comfort, cleanliness, great atmosphere, all rolled into one. It is definitely a place I plan to come back to next time I visit Krakow. I also appreciated the location, perfect for a tour of the town and people coming to Kakow by train (train statio, Krakow Glowny, is a 5-min walk from the hostel and the Galleria Krakowska shopping mall and really close to Planty park and the historic center). As a female solo travell. This was a little gem of a hostel that we found. The owner was extremely kind and willing to do whatever he could to ensure we were comfortable. The hostel is still very new, but the owner takes great care of everything. The rooms were super clean, and the facilities were also nice. Plenty of hot water, and the Galleria Krakow is within walking distance. The building was a nice older place, with a buzzed in entry so it was secure. If I was coming through Krakow again, I would stay here . Everything was perfect. Great location, proximity to train & bus stations, city center and main tourist attractions. Rooms and common areas are very clean, most stuff seems brand new. Fancy showers, comfortable beds, wifi connection. Ruslan, our host, was very friendly and helpful; he gave us lots of tips on where to go, what to visit, best places to eat, etc. An overall nice experience. Highly recommended. Very delightful stay. The beds are comfortable; the rooms and toilettes clean. The facilities are far better than what I would expect from a regular hostel. The staff (I should know his name but I kept calling him "dude" without asking his actual name) is extremely friendly and helpful. He offered to make me breakfast and coffee or tea lots of times. Situated within a larger building we had to go through an outer door to get to our hostel door which gave us a secure feeling, and there was always someone very helpful on reception. A superb Hostel. Very well handled by its owner. Everything is so clean. 5 minutes away by walk to train station and just besides of historical area. The owner, Ruslan (his name), is very helpful. Just tell him what you want to do in the city and follow his advises, you will not regret. The host was amazing. He always carried my bag for me, and was extremely accommodating. Really modern hostel - the showers are deluxe! Right next to the old town, the train station, the castle and the Jewish quarter aren't far on foot. For me, nothing , just it is a small private owned hostels, so size is pretty small and they don't have a kind of lounge where you can find some hostels in Barcelona to chill out and talking with other people, but most hostels I stayed in Poland was pretty small as well. But thanks to small size of hostels, it's quiet and you can be relaxed in "pub city". I have no comlaints, it was a perfect stay!. Unfortunately, a little noisy. Because, by the side of the road. The shared toilet which we found inadequate as it was situated at the side of the reception desk within a shared bathroom which contained a tumble dryer. Many times we had to wait for vacation before we could use it. Another private lone toilet or one in the rooms with a private bathroom would have been welcome. We also had at times to take a cold shower as we couldn't get the hot water in the shower to work. Minor things: I wish there would have been one more bathroom. I also would like floor mats in the bathrooms, as it was a bit slippery stepping out of the shower. Since all rooms communicate with the lobby, it can become a bit noisy at some points. Make sure you bring some ear plugs!. There is just one bathroom. No breakfast, so get yourself a obwarzanka (pretzel) in the city. I love to complain, but I can't find anything to complain on this one. -its not minus but hostel is pretty small its not that chill out type of a hostel :). Problems with the hot water in the bathroom. In my opinion the common space could be more inviting. It's not suitable for family because the room doesn't have the separated toilet and bathroom. The room near the road is very noisy because the tram and bus. The Sound of the clock in the room is a little loud. The room doesn't have curtain so the light from the window is very bright in night. nothing. the clerk is not good at English. although there was a large bathroom in the room there is no toilet, this seemed to me to make little sense with such as big space allocated for the bathroom. there is one communal toilet so had to queue which was a little annoying during the night. Nothing. nothing. slight smell of smoke... nothing. He double booked and asked if the room could be shared. The least he could have done was offer a refund or find me a room in another place. If you know polish its fine, or else if you book this hotel and when you arrive and find yourself infront of a locked door with a number coded lock. Here what you can do 1. ask some kind hearted passer by to call the manager 2. solve this riddle wy7 wiebierz 77, 'wybierz 1', wybierz 5, wybierz 7, the hotel manager said I am the first person who did not understand what this meant and what I was supposed to do. I hope you are nit the 2nd one.
