The apartment was very beautifully decorated and clean. They had a private taxi pick us up at the airport and the driver was very nice, he also took us back to the airport. Very large well furnished apartments. Much nicer than a hotel bedroom. Central for both the old town and the Jewish quarter.Quality of finish in oour rooms and central location. The streets and outside areas surrounding the apartment were dirty and run down, it was also noisy. Satellite TV would have been nice if we'd had some English speaking channels. They need to provide wash cloths, hand towels, coffee pot, coffee filters, etc. for apartment guests. As is often the case in the old Eastern block countries, the apartments have been renovated to a high standard but the communal areas are semi derilict. Once you are over the shock of this the apartments are great.The building was undergoing renovation and the outside and stairwayswere so delapidated as to make the building somewhat threateningespecially in darkness. Very noisy guests-neighbours but this was dealt with on two occasions.
