The warmth of the facility, its staff including management genuine cares about its residence. My experience except for a minor encounter with lobby staff over my bill, was for the most part a pleasant experience. The location itself of the hotel is great and the view of the sea & mountains, breakfast by the pool we had a nice time, i will definitely recommend marco polo plaza cebu to my friends & relatives.

Will stay there again when next in Cebu. i liked that a staff even took their time to ask/call from guests if there is any other way they could give assistance. Prices of meals a bit too high. i did not like that during check in, guests are not even approached if its already time for check in. the wait is reasonable considering that prior to check in, we were informed re check in time. but the fact that they know and see we were waiting, just a little effort to inform guests. to make our waiting time less irritating. Not Much to say. Some of the rooms had a bathroom design that ensured the floors always flooded. They need a low ridge siliconed across the floor in the gap between the glass screen and the wall. The room service people come to the rooms at 8am which is really early. An incident happened with me when I slept late and I was drunk. When the cleaner knocked the door at 8am I did not wake up. So he just took the decision to open my room and get in. I was asleep almost naked with my gf and saw a guy in front of us. It was a stupid move from him that they did not respect my privacy. the buffet was good but expensive for the area, you have to take a tax to get to the main central area. Not really possible to walk. The place was far from shopping malls although they had a shuttle service to take you to SM Cebu and Ayala (at 2-hour intervals). N/A. location a bit far, the blue bar at the top of the building closes too early. Food was not good. New construction of Marco Polo residences ruins the city views from the pool area. Nothing. Advance for normal services... none. a bit far. Location could have been a little closer to mall, but was still very nice. - Slow front desk - room service forgot items twice - strange hotel policy regarding bringing in outside food, they report you and charge you PHP500......makes no sense!!!. The breakfast tray ordered in my room had flowers which were supposed to be fresh but they looked as if they were over a week old as they were wilted. The tea had only one tea bag and water enough for four cups of tea. I brought this to the notice of the staff who apologized profusely and placed a fruit basket in my room when I returned. I think that was a good gesture. No bidet in thr bathroom. not allowing guest early check in.additional payment for early check in!!!. Because of the hotel's lack of initiative to provide the room's CR with a rug, i accidentally slipped to the floor which caused me two big bruises on my thighs, a small cut near my nipple and many other small bruises on my knees and my arms and hands. Room next to the work in progress. Room view. It seems that has hidden charges and the facilities not complete..
