We just went through Typhoon Haiyan while staying at Monaco Suites de Boracay. I would like to comment on the amazing staff of the hotel who went out of their way to ensure our safety and well being during a time when their own family were also in danger. The staff prepared for the emergency well and helped everyone to get through it with minimum impact. The hotel has a generator so there was still power despite the island being cut off. I am very relieved we chose to stay at this hotel and wis.

The place is worthy of recommending to friends or to anyone. We love that place and our experienced was really satisfying. For us, it's excellent staying there. Everything! The employes just take care of you during all your stay. The breakfast is great, the location splendide and the pool is wonderfull. One of the best hotel on the island due to its location and the view from the balcony. Free shuttle all day long to go to White beach. It was well kept with highly trained staff. Great buffet breakfast excellent service both in room and at the pool. Free shuttle service to boat station 1 where it was really busy. Private transfers were first class.if you want the best of both worlds book here. It wasnt a resort with hundreds of rooms so was very easy to get around. Fantastic views,nice spacious rooms just a good place to stay. Only 15 mins from the centre of all the action by free shuttle bus. Room size, service, breakfast, value for money, staff, location (if you want to relax at night), regular shuttle service to white beach area (d'mall and cocoloco), private area on station 3. As we rate the place of Monaco Suits as excellent. We really enjoying there. There was not anything I did not like all good. Girls thought the beach a little small. Internet connection in the room can be improved. The hotel's beach is beautiful but not suitable for swimming. its in station 3 which is far from white beach so if u can not catch the bus u will stay in resort for that its boring because its really far. could be a better beach... Small territory (compared with the hotel description), no private beach. nothing. Noise from the construction of the opposite resort. There was a lot of insects in the room at night even on the bed, and when i complained they give me Anti-insect spray !!!. Restaurant menu is expensive, short and unimaginative. It’s like eatery menu with some very basic dishes, it does not make you want to try something else. Staff is not trained to make their own decisions. After I missed the shuttle bus to the main beach, I asked staff if someone can give me the lift to the road where I can catch other transport. I was told that they can’t help me. And there was at least two golf carts available and few staff members standing around doing nothing. Kitchen is closed after 11pm and if you want to have some meal you need to get to White beach.
