I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at this hotel. The personnel were especially attentive and helpful. The size of the room was very large and clean. I plan to stay here again upon return to Stavanger. - Barbara

We were in Stavanger for our daughter's wedding, not able to speak a word of Norwegian. The staff at Rica Park spoke perfect English; in fact I was surprised when they switched to Norwegian when answering the phone. I forgot that English was not their native language. They were so helpful to our whole family. The rooms were clean and well-appointed. Breakfast was very nice, but watch out for the coffee you are accustomed to the good stuff. Stayed at the Rica Park on business for 2 nights as it had been recommended by colleagues. I was not disappointed. The hotel is located in central Stavanger, a short walk up the hill from the train station and 5-10 minutes from the harbour front. The building itself is fairly forgettable, being located at the corner of two busy streets, with a discrete entrance. Once inside however, things improve quickly.
