having moved on from bergen I had 3 nights booked here at the Rica Holberg. I walked from the Central Bus station to the hotel, pretty straightforward , a walk of about 20minutes through the pedestrian area of the city.Useful for getting my bearings for later. I arrived prior to check in time but it was no problem to dump my case with the hotel , and go and get some lunch returning later to complete check in. My room was excellent. it was on the side of the hotel away from the tram line - Maria

We stayed on the top floor in a room with wooden beams and skylights. The beds were very comfortable, it was attractive, and just the right amount of space for our 3-person family. The breakfast buffet in the morning was full of variety, both hot and cold items. We thought it was delicious. The location was excellently placed right next to a tram stop. We found it just as easy though to walk anywhere from the hotel. It was close to the main shopping district (Karl Johan Street), restaurants, caf - Karen

I arrived late in the evening but was very glad to see that the hotel is right next to the last stop of the bus from the airport. The building itself is very attractive and rather centrally located. Very friendly receptionists. My first room overlooked the square in front of the hotel, which normally would have been perfect except they were doing roadworks and it was impossible to sleep. But the staff in the hotel were glad to give me a quieter room, which was actually even nicer. Breakfa - Jasem
