Good location in arty centre with fabulous food court. Casual atmosphere, very cool. Great decor and fabulous bathroom. Walking distance of city centre.
In the middle of a new, lively area of the city with bars just around the corner. On walking distance from the Grunerlocke area. New, clean and well designed.
The rooms are small but correct, nothing to be exited about, but since this is Oslo, still pricey.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, free parking in the garage next door, bus quite close. Breakfast was generally good except for one day when they started to run out of some things. The food hall across the center was magnificent.
The open-plan shower--a curtain might h and elp some. Hard to find. Best description is that it is underneath the Scandia Vulcan Hotel.

Overall we liked this hotel. It was good value for money with an excellent breakfast. It is well located and provided free car parking. It was ideal for an adult and two kids for 2 nights.
When I first arrived I was somewhat frustrated as I found it difficult to find as the sign at the front is very small. The WIFI didn`t work very well. The room patio doors only open about 100mm for ventilation. I would have been nice if they fully opened.
The good and polite staff as well as the nice room they gave us . The place also is very convenient because shopping and food-drink center called MATHALLEN in which the PS HOTEL is part of .
Is a great problem to find ( at the first time ) where exactly is the hotel . This is generally a problem for the new comer . The taxi driver and all of us couldn't find or just see where is the name , the sign or the door of that hotel .

The location was hip & the beds were so comfy.
The included breakfast was quite good, but the staff was inadequate. They had to be frequently asked to replenish food, coffee, & supplies.
The bedspreads are very beautiful; room is clean n the staff are very helpful. Easy access to good food court just across the hotel. Breakfast is excellent.
The double decker bed was a danger cos both the men in our group kept knocking their heads onto the triangle metal sides. No liquid soup in the bathsoom n no tissue papers. Hassle of having to get new password everyday.

The stuff was friendly, the room was clean, facilities for children were good. In general we enjoyed our stay there. The only problem was that it was difficult to find it but the girl at the receptionist helped us a lot on that.
The breakfast was poor but decent.
This hotel is clean and good value for your money. The hotel staff go out of their way to help customers. The breakfast is very good with hot and cold dishes and a wide variety of food to choose from. Reasonably priced for Norway and the restaurant downstairs is good food and value for dinner.
The shower only has half a door so the floor gets wet when showering. The bathroom door is glass so its not good for families as there is no privacy.

The staff take care people well. They try to solve all different problem. They are kind and friendly. The price and breakfast are nice. We enjoy the time staying there, we could all the time just sit in the hall and drink coffee do anything we want.

Two minor thing - if there were a mat for the bathroom it would hinder the shower from spreading water on the floor, in some rooms there are bunk beds which may not suit all if you are travelling as a couple
Staff were friendly and helpful. They helped us tips to get around and recommended a food festival exhibition to visit just nearby which was great, since the time we checked in it was late and most of the places were about to close. The rooms were tastefully done. The restaurant was great. The restaurant staff was friendly and service-oriented. The hotel is centrally located, well within reach of the Oslo S station with a bus and a tram station just a walk away. The tram was only 3 stops away from the station which was convenient for us to do a flyby visit as we were enroute with just an overnight stop in Oslo to Tromso.
The signs to the hotel were not clear and its actually behind another hotel called the Vulcan. Since it is a new hotel not many of the locals new about it. There were a steep set of stairs which we, thankfully had to go down on with our luggage, which was only medum-light, but climbing it would have been near impossible. The terrain around the hotel is a bit 'hilly' with ups and downs and so for an overnight halt if you are not packing "really" light could be tough to get in and out.

Staff were always friendly and helpful. The food both at breakfast and in the evening was excellent. The location was good, right next to Mathalle and a short walk from the centre.
We only once got a hot shower in the 4 days we stayed there. A party was going on in the room next door one night and it was very noisy but the staff seemed unable to make it less noisy.

I stay in Oslo about one night per week and ps is my hotel of choice. It offers the best quality-to-price ratio in town. If you get a double room, it may not be as large as you'd expect (size is similar to a small single room in many other hotels), but if you get a triple you'll have plenty of space. Bath rooms are nice in both room types.
Turned out that the restaurant downstairs was closed this Monday. According to schedule, it should be open also on Mondays, so I suppose it was due to extraordinary circumstances. If you plan to work at the hotel, be aware that the desk is very small.
Large room (a double) with modern Scandinavian furniture. New and stylish bath room. Great view at the food market across the street (note that you might end up looking at the apartment block on the opposite side of the building). Nice breakfast buffet in the restaurant downstairs (included in room price) where I also had a very favorably priced (for Oslo standards) meal at night. Probably the best place I've stayed in Oslo. Price-quality ratio is excellent!
Wireless signal strength could be better, even in the restaurant downstairs. There's a work desk in the room but the fairly large flat-screen TV is sitting on top of it, leaving little space for you to work. Why not put the TV on the wall?

was given a triple room, even if we were two pax - the overhead bunk is a bit of a nuisance a larger bin in the room itself would be nice (besides the peddle bin in bathroom) the room is not very well lit my biggest issue if the WIFI. the connection is great but if left idle for a few minutes you are disconnected. Also the user name and password expire every 24 hours and you need to keep asking for new ones. Also these were not given to us on check in but i had to go back and ask for them. .

In the room there is the permanent air conditioning, аnd you can't open the window. For me it's real torture. There is no any cupboards or wardrobe in the room, just some huge tubes (modern design))) for your stuff. This is quite uncomfortable. Glass door to the bathroom.

Not at all 3-4 star hotel. To reach toom, its like you are crossing different barriers in a central jail. There was hardly anything in breakfast and 2 ladies at the breakfast looked like they were forced to work..we had to take a train in morning so we were in their so called restaurant before time (before 7 am). Coffee machine wasnt working, lady was least bothere to help us grab something quickly. Will never recommend. First time feeling like cheated by reviews on letsbookhotel.com

Asked for a wake call - didn't happen. Sink plug wouldn't shut. A few hangers on the wall for clothing storage. No instructions for anything - so couldn't adjust the aircon.
