  The owners Eivind and his wife could not have been more helpful and they spoke perfect English. We chose the cabin/room and although quite small, was lovely and warm and clean, good shower and little kitchette with fridge. First evening meal was served in their Gapahuken restaurant which has a fantastic lakeside (frozen when we were there) setting... what people say » , beautiful inside and the reindeer steak dinner (persoanlly cooked in front of us by Eivind) was superb - one of the best meals I have ever eaten. On - The uniqueness of a country-side establishment that offers space, freedom, with great staff, good stories about the area,a sauna and spa, and the flowers as it was summertime. The Husky team ride, the dogs. /and of course the restaurant with excellent food. The cloud berries picked early each morning . It was a genuine and natural 3 days . I've marked the facilities as good because there isn't a very good, but if it is good enough for the Queen of Norway to enjoy time here, it is good enough

  Location is super. View from lobby, dining room, bedroom breathtaking. Staff were friendly. Room was small fr edge of bed to wall. Loved decor. Bathroom was excellent. Really loved the help yourself to coffee. Wish more hotels had this. The sea view from our room was great and allowed us to (just about) see the Northern Lights from the comfort of our warm room.Very impressive choice at the breakfast buffet.

  helpful staff excellent breakfast and a comfortable room. As there was a room available we were able to check in early which was greatly appreciated. - just a nice place and fit our needs nicely. I think they do a great job looking after the needs of the traveler. Hal Natvig

  Good value for money. Relaxed and easy going atmosphere - Location is good, right in the center. The person who runs the place is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is fine for a stay if you pass Kirkenes in transit.
