The otel was in a great location, very close to the city center and a very quiet area. The hotel design is very nice and the rooms are very cozy and comfortable. The best, the breakfast! It´s small but it includes a lot of home-made products and local food. Very good and eco-friendly! Great value for money :)

Small boutique hotel in Bergen. Amazing breakfast with delicious flatbread and lots of other quality homemade produce. The eggs were cooked to perfection! Tuesday was cake day and Thursday was soupday wich was a nice extra. Nice café next door and central location. Extremely friendly staff. This is really a no brainer compared to other hotels I've stayed in Bergen.

Amazing Breakfast! The plain yoghurt with the homemade marmalade is the best i have ever tasted.

That we had to be moved half way through our stay, and that all our toiletries ended up in another room. Everything was sorted out in the end, but it was annoying.

The breakfast was excellent. We loved the home made crispbread and breads. The staff were very helpful.

We had trouble working out the coffee machine at breakfast. Would prefer fresh milk to be available for tea and coffee making in the room.

A nice old house very nice adapted. Very good breakfast. Situated in a lovely area of Bergen.

Fantastic breakfast!

Had a room on the 3rd floor - very hot during the night - the windows are on the roof and cannot be opened. Had to watch out not to bang the head in the low ceiling.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, great breakfast.

Bit of a climb to get up there but there are lots of hills in bergen! It is expensive but it is pretty mid price by Norwegian prices and when you compare other hotels. You do get breakfast which some other hotels dont offer.

it's like a big house, old and completly renovated, with all homemade products for the breakfast.

The bed was a single small bed but it's ok, as I'm small too and that was what I had asked for.

The staff were welcoming, knowledgable, and friendly. I had to depart very early on a weekend morning, well before the breakfast hour. Without being asked, the staff offered to have some light breakfast waiting for me before my departure!

I was satisfied with almost everything. the location, the staff, cleanness were good. The only thing is the price which I find to be a bit expensive but on the other hand, that is Norway which is known to be one of expensive countries. therefore expecting to pay the same amount of money that you pay in southern Europe is no t reasonable. overall, I recommend this hotel

1) we stayed in room no. 202 Apr2013, 2 nights, space no big but well equiped,the coffee and tea maker make us feel like at home. 2) studend to school, local people to work, walking with dogs are the morning's lovely scene here. 3) quality breakfast is served

Located uphill area. if you enjoy walking, you will enjoy the scenery along with wooden house, cobble stone and tiny lane.

Breakfast was outstanding, most items were home-made Staff were very friendly and welcoming Design of rooms, especially the wet room was great.

The hotel was not far at all from the centre (short walk) but I would have preferred to be on the hotel bus drop off route from the airport.

room allocated lacked privacy and is overlooked by balconies of other apartments not a fan or wet room quite a walk from train station to hotel and its steeper and harder than I imagined

The room was small, cold. The bathroom was unpractical with to small a sink, placed in a corner in the samd area the shower. Except for the breakfast, not worth the money.
