Reviews - Mercure Wellington

A friend and I stayed at the Mercure Wellington for 4 nights in July 2009. We arrived early in the morning and had no trouble checking in early. The first thing that struck us was the fantastic view over the city as we entered the room (room 609). We had 2 double/queen beds and a small table. We found that we had plenty of room to move about. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The restaurant food was plentiful and tasty. If you prepay your breakfast at the reception desk you will receive - Jette


We paid less than we expected to pay for a room big enough for the four of us which included breakfast and had a heated indoor pool and a gym and sauna. On arrival we were not acknowledged, the receptionist was dealing with another guest. ( Should still look up and acknowledge us though!) Then he was very helpful and pleasant. Though he asked if I would like to join Club Accor which I agreed to but he didnt take note of the way I spelled my name on the reg.form and my name has remained inc - Roger
