The warm and friendly welcome by the owner. The size of the (refurbished) room which had everything we could ask for. We were a bit cold the first night and when we mentioned that, we were given an extra heater. The owner even let us feed a little lamb she was nursing at the time, that was great. all reviews » Perfect for our family of 4, plus my 2 parents as well. Had TONS of space, was clean and very comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We stayed here after a long day at Milford Sound, and it was a beautiful, relaxing evening!. Spacious bedrooms, living room and dining area. Kids had fun with the spa bathtub, outdoor trampoline and swing. About 5 minutes drive to town centre. We can also park our car just outside our unit, allowing easy transfer of our luggages. Virtually everything. Great, clean, comfortable accommodation and very helpful staff. And REAL FREE WIFI. How rare is that in NZ? It is in the centre of Te Anau which has a collection of great places in which to eat. This motel was great, owner was extremely friendly, and the apartment was very spacious and clean. very well worth the money. I would recommend to others to stay here, and I know we will be back again. It provided a comfortable bed, a good sized ane equipped kitchenettes and was recently updated. There is a footpath through the park to town cener and good parking. The free wifi worked well. We took unit 17 with two bed rooms. There were 4 single bed and one queen bed- Spacious enough for family with 4 children. You wd have privacy if you stay here. A short walk to Te Anau lake. New owners have done a lot of work to get this motel up and running again. Super clean and excellent room facilities for such a budget price. Would happily stay again.
