A great "Mohotel": space for sitting outdoors, large, light bedroom with comfortable chairs, spotless bathroom and a reasonably priced breakfast. Heated outdoor pool and inexpensive laundry facilities were welcome extras. The manager was really helpful and all staff were friendly. No cooking facilities (though a big frig') so no cooking! Hooray!. I found that from the time I arrived that the manager Mike was very helpful and friendly.there was nothing to hard or to trival.Everything I asked or needed he was only to helpful. I would go as far as to say he would be the best manager I have experienced and I have travelled extensively internationally .
all reviews » I liked the pool and the layout of the room -one bedroom studio. Husband liked extra hot & firm shower- chrome fittings. I think it should be described as a Motor Lodge or Motel rather than an hotel. Staff = extra friendly & Excellent customer service. Clean & warm nice new fittings. The guys there were fantastic, warm and friendly towards us and very helpful when we needed their assistance with anything. The rooms were well appointed and the external facilities great as well. I will be definitely using them again!. I liked my room and the spa pool and swimming pool. It was also very close to the city without being right in the motel strip. Opposite there was a bakery, butcher and fruit shop as well as a 24 hour petrol station so that was great. The room had a queen bed, plus 2 singles beds. Good for two young children. a good central location, between the lake front and the amusement attractions. the pool and the spa were good for the kids and the adults. nice and clean. Spacious rooms, stayed the friday night at the Sudima and it was very average to say the least and expensive. will now stay at the Mecure instead, much better value for money. The staff was extremely welcoming. The facilities were amazing. They even let us go into the spa after opening hours. What i loved most was how each room was set out. Great!!!. Room was lovely, liked the fact that bedroom was separate from tv, kitchen & bathroom . Meant that kids could sleep undisturbed . Modern decor ..very lovely and tasteful. It was a very nice and comfortable spacious room. Very near to the skyline/luge and Wingspan. Enjoyed our stay there. My girls loved the Mitai Cultural village and hangi. Great location, only 5 minutes to Paradise Springs and all other major attractions. Beds are very comfortable.. Like sleeping on a cloud. Bakery right across the road. Mecure was lovely and clean and the staff were very friendly. Its easy to find and located close to town and quite a few of the attractions we wanted to see. The staff where very helpful it was clean an comfortable would stay there again my sister and I really enjoyed our stay would recommend others to stay there. Was abit worried that there might be road noise but none at all - Pool was nearby and very accessible and once again I worried it might be noisy at night but not at all. Only thing was it was described on letsbookhotel.com as ahotel: It is more of amotel but in the end this suited us fine. Nothing... The only kitchen utensils were cups and teaspoons as well as a universal tool that included a corkscrew and a tiny knife. I could have done with a plate, knife and fork but I coped. At least the knife bit meant I could cut up my fruit. The other slightly annoying thing was that my room was right beside the spa pool which was supposed to be closed from 9.30pm. I was woken one night at about 11.30pm by yahooing young people using the spa for about an hour. one room we had did not have a light in the shower and no heating. Perhaps these sorts of things should be checked before renting the room. There was road works which was going on in front of the hotel. But i understand that it is not the hotel's fault :). Family rooms on road side are a bit noisy; worth investing in double glazing on the main bedroom. Hot water issues between 8:30am-9:30am when all rooms try and fight for the shared supply. Should consider having the vehicle gates on security card access (rather than just left open), back carpark seems unsafe (as is unlit and hidden from view). The spa pool should be shaded. My wife thought giving free wifi would be a good idea. first night was cold as heater wasn't working. There was nothing "not to like"..awesome hotel and prompt service. A small negative was the lack of parking within the courtyard - not enough parks and we had to park in the middle. However we were leaving early so didn't worry too much - more parking would be great thanks. The shower wasn't working properly. We found that it was either too hot or too cold. The owner tried to repair it but it didn't really solve the problem. I know that some reviewers have said that the distance from town is a downside but we had a car and it was not a problem at all; it is not really that far away!. The heater in the room is aging because it's too noisy, which disturbs sleep. Nothing. Attention to detail - bulb missing in bedside lamp. Toilet roll holder about to fall off wall and pedal bin didn't open properly. Can't think of anything to fault it. room 24 had a slight smell not sure what the cause was. road noise ( road works in progress) next time I will ask for a room at the back of the complex. Limited choice for breakfast, but don't expect too much for $10. Lighting a bit dim in lounge area !. Entrance to establishment on busy road however this is out of there control. Heater didn't work and every room needs a microwave. Obtaining Wifi access was fiddly. The front desk staff could have been a bit quicker to come once the buzzer was pressed, but once they were there were very friendly. the spa too cold. The entrance is slightly difficult to get into, especially with the roadworks that are currently going on. No designated car parks or enough car parks for amount of rooms. No other utensils apart from a teaspoon in the room. The external architecture pretty ugly and car parking area barren. Nothing about the hotel. Due to road constructions, access and area was cramped. Shame about the road works !!!. Kitchenette. Didnt know where to smoke as a frequent traveller id like to know where to smoke however I did realise that there was a sign saying smokefree complex which is great for familys but not for for others that are PAYING to be there there should be a clearly displayed designated smoking area making a whole complex smokefree is kind of discimination isnt it I belive the only places that have the right to make the entire area they are situated on smokefree are HOSPITALS and restaurants.
