Very easy to find and lovely welcome on arrival couldn't have wished for a better place to stay . Would stay there again and the meal deal for a two course menu was awesome would recommend to other people staying at this motel . Our room was very spacious for us and our older children. We were barely in the rooms as we attended a family function ... but he experience was good. We have stayed before in the attic rooms.
all reviews » Space and privacy above for younger members of our group, outdoor garden space, no road noise, on site restaurant, good breakfasts, venue not too big and impersonal, nothing was any trouble. The staff were exceptionally friendly and willing to accommodate us without question. The suite was clean and well maintained. Close to everything and the room service food was delicious!!. The location suited us really well, and we were glad of the pool and the small playground. The size of the rooms were good for our family. We appreciated having access to free wi-fi. Helpful friendly staff, very comfortable beds, clean with good facilities, wifi worked well. Real milk instead of UHT, excellent value and no hidden hooks. Friendly reception. Large room. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Full toiletries. Lovely view of the garden. Excellent value for money. Thoroughly recommend!. I arrived after office hours and everything was set up for me including heater and light on in my room. Very friendly and happy staff on check out. I loved it. The BEST place I've ever stayed at.The room was so well designed, plenty of room and very, very comfortable. Our unit was clean, comfortable, peaceful and quite spacious. We had a very quiet room some distance from the reception area. Cleanliness, peaceful, and affordable,. Clean and comfortable. space and staff. Good room. Not really a big issue, but movement in mezzanine floor above creaks, but didn't really bother me too much, also bedside radio didn't appear to have 1071kHz National radio, but I had my own radio. There were a few things that needed fixing in the attic villa, most notably the balustrades in the upstairs room. The gaps were unsafe for small children, but I have brought it to the attention of the motel staff and am assured that they will be made safe. In this case, I would highly recommend this room for families, particularly those with children over four or so. Spa out of action due to earthquake - not their fault but needs to be updated on website. Would be great to have password for wifi given to you on check-in as I forgot to ask before office closed. Cleaning smell a little bit strong (maybe something less chemically?). There was nothing I didn't like. Nothing. Bathroom facilities were dated. Shower pressure was poor. Some of the bathroom and lighting fixtures are looking a bit dated. nothing. We could not fault the service we received. Nothing. Spa pool was broken (Earthquake) :o(. Shower..... Large picture, poorly fixed to the wall, fell and hit me on the head. early knock at the door from housekeeping. Very small coffee and tea making fac. No microwave. Weather not ok for golfing. The price of Tui beer. The room and bathroom could do with freshening up; all looking a little tired. Traffic noise. room needed renovating (a bit 1980s) ; and the restaurant meal was too large and included much that had been frozen and little that was fresh. Spa was out of order. Booked Motel specifically with a Spa as we were in Masterton for Sports Competition. Very disappointing.
