We got room number on the second floor, it was with two bedrooms, and big sitting area, full-equipped kitchen and big clean bathroom with all the facilities. Very clean and comfortable. The stuff is very nice! While traveling in New Zealand, I changed 13 different hotels. This one is in top-3. Made a confirmed booking for 3 nights. The motel overbooked for the last night which made me find another hotel for that night. C/Church was booked out and the alternative accomodation was poor. This also reflects poorly on letsbookhotel.com.

The Hosts were exceptionally helpful, the unit was spotless and warm and road noise is not an issue. Ideal for a weekend trip when you want to be handy to the city. We will use Rosewood again. We were double booked through the online booking system, however David rung with this news AND a solution. He had rebooked us up the road, for the same rate. Great service in this respect!. We thought for the price paid per night and the central location to the city and airport, that the motel was great. Facilities are modern and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Good location. Walking distance to small shopping centre and several restaurants. Proprietor even cleaned the dew off the windscreens of all the clients cars in the morning. Lovely clean facilities, with full cooking and a spa bath. Comfortable bed with excellent surroundings. Owners/staff were very friendly and helpful. Will stay again!. I left my wireless internet card behind, and received a phone call very quickly after I left so that I could pick it up later. Close to the city, with spa. Nice and friendly people running the Motels and very obliging, the owner even came down to the room at 9.30pm to show us where to power up the spa bath. We like the location and price of this clean and tidy motel and we usually stay here when visiting Christchurch. No sign on wall for where/how to turn power on for spa bath. Nobody's fault, but this time when we stayed the guests next door must have had international flights and we were woken about 4am by them moving about and loading car etc so didn't enjoy our last stay as much. N/A. No hairdryer. We liked everything about this place. Nothing :). No information book about the motel in the unit. Bed a rolls to the middle a bit. No extra locks for door. Only a push in lock from inside. The microwave was not cleaned from previous user. Bathroom tiles did not look clean but the grout had come out to make it look untidy. No choice of milk given we were given blue milk which we do not usually buy. Not friendly to guest. We stayed 2 night at this motel, they don,t want to change the bed sheets on 2nd night.
