Lovely location and great staff, everything was brand new, so much so I feel we were the first in the 3 bedroom apartment. Rooms were large and the 2 showers a bonus. Having a washing machine and dryer and a oven meant staying for a while would be very easy and convenient. Staff were very helpful. Studio was extremely clean and furniture comfortable. Location was very central which made it easy to get to things, it because so much in the centre city is still closed, it was a bit difficult to find dinner At night unless one planned ahead.

Even if downtown is in reconstruction, as visitors we have decided to support businesses downtown who have reopened first. Our 5 nights stay was perfect. We would honestly recommend these Serviced Apartments to any one who is searching for most things that they could ever want in accommodation, as well as the staff. Go there, you will not be disappointed. Great Staff customer service, neat and clean, spacious, new build apartment, city tram access just outside the building. Highly recommended for someone who wish to live close to the city. 1- the location , downtown, easy to walk to the docks. 2- the large apartment : we had 2 bedrooms, living and full kitchen and were 2 couples. 3- the available carpark. Sitting on the balcony in the sun, watching the trams just below. Handiness of the property. Being walking distance to re-start Mall with cafes and shops. Regardless of the post quake CHC situation Property was very well presented. Friendly efficient staff. Spotless room. Large size. Excellent value. The apartments were practically brand new after being severely affected by the February 2011 earthquake, are well designed and comfortable. Excellent hair dryer. Roomy. Good kitchen. cooking facilities. Convenient in the downtown core. Spacious 2 bedroom apartment but very sparsely decorated. Master bed didn't have any opening windows or curtains (had blinds but sun got thru the gaps) and only small bedside cabinets. There wasn't anything for the tv screen to connect to and the phone sat on the floor. Don't think there was a temp controller installed yet. But I do feel this is because they hadn't quite finished the place yet. A bit difficult to drive to it because of closed roads--get detailed directions just before stay. the dirty windows (not inside but outside) no WIFI in apartment. A few minor teething problems associated with the recent reopening but all sorted promptly and without any drama. Lacking ventilation in second bedroom. Signs on the building stated Hotel 115 so made it a bit difficult. We thought we had the wrong address. There were no facilities in hotel such as a café or bar. This in itself may not have been a problem but hotel was in the middle of the desolation of the Christchurch CBD and all the adjacent bars and eateries have gone. Acknowledge this is beyond Quest's control, but more information about what is available and where would have been nice. Not having full time desk attendance. The shower box was large but the rest of the bathroom a little cramped. Lack of satellite television the only thing really. No air conditioning and a little noisy. Given the central city is in rebuild mode, there aren't any dairies (7-11s) and limited food options after business hours, it would have been helpful to have a mini bar or other snack purchasing opportunities, for after-dinner. I would have expected a heat pump for the price we paid, although there's was a wall mounted heater. Nothing. Nothing. In my opinion if you are going to provide cooking utensils please make them of a high quality. If a fry pan is cheap and nasty and everything sticks to it that is very annoying. I can't imagine people stealing such items so please consider better quality. Kitchenette - in other Quests you have possibility to cook, here you can only prepare toasts and boil water (unless you need to order specifically the room equipped with something more which I did not check). we were on 7th floor and there was a step ladder at the top of the fire escape, also no instructions for the phone (ie what number for reception). Too expensive. shower, very poor pressure and would have liked sky tv to watch news and cricket. small wardrobe,no oven , noisy extracte fan ok when told of switch. Lack of kitchen facilities, and tea towels. Electric lock on door was faulty. No takeaway menus available at the hotel (much of Christchurch CBD currently does not have open restaurants due to the quake damage) Hotel was not fully finished, so had to walk through the basement to get to my room. .........was all good. The smell of paint and starkness of the Apartment made it feel claustrophobic. A bit stark. Didn't have a very welcoming feel about it. No mirror in the main bedroom. Noisy bathroom fan. We were overcharged one night; funds were debited prior to my being able to explian their error. This was one disadvantage of communicating through a third party booking agent. The hotel is located in the centre of the earthquake devastation zone so rubble and contruction all around. Good if that is what you want to see but we found the area depressing and eirie feeling. broken tv kitchenete non draining shower door lock system failed. Failed to equip room with basics I.e tea towel. We stayed 3 nights, two of the nights the room was not serviced because 1day was a public holiday and another a sunday. We can get that sort of service at a much cheaper rate. No notice was given on the days it was not service and no provision for basics such as toilet paper. Never again !!!.
