  Check in was welcoming and efficient, front desk excellent. Friendly efficient and helpful staff particularly Mr. Keroghlian. Pool and spa area excellent. We had a suite on 14 floor overlooking harbour which was well appointed and quiet from city noise and very comfortable. Location is a1 in a very pretty university area but a short walk to Viaduc... what people say » t and cbd and Parnell. W had stayed here before under the Hyatt management which was not good, so delighted to have new ethos in a very good city hote - We had stayed at the hotel the week before and returned as we found the hotel comfortable, the staff helpful and the location just right for us. The few days we were there were very busy in the hotel which gave it a buzz.

  I would recommend this hotel. I needed a good nights rest after coming from London (34 hours travel). It was quiet, clean, comfy, good shower pressure, spacious room, fridge, lift to the floors, plenty of parking. The staff were friendly.   We have been on a 7 week trip of Nz and Oz and the Quay West Suites rate the highest amongst all the accommodation we have had. We were very impressed with all the staff from the cleaners to the reception. The suite was comfortable and very clean with a superb view of the harbour. The swimming pool was fantastic and empty first thing. Excellent stay. - Staff were very accommodating of my 50th birthday girlie gathering. We had booked a three bedroom suite and was upgraded with the extra villa to a two bedroom deluxe suite. Staff were patient and all requests were met with amicably. I would highly recommend your establishment and hope to bring my family there again soon. Thanks for making my special day MORE enjoyable!

  I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Spencer on Bryon. The location was close enough to the city whilst maintaining an almost beach resort vibe. Great views of the Harbour and surrounding water. Was lucky enough to be upgraded to a one bedroom suite which felt like an apartment with kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and lounge room and balcony. The swimming pool spa & gym were great, staff were friendly and efficient. Close to shops & the beach + plenty of food options. Also had our own kitchen giving us the option to cook if we wanted to. Large comfy bed & black out curtains meant we got a great sleep. - I like the Castle Spencer on Byron. I stayed here for the evening before and of my wedding at the beginning of the month and liked it a lot, so my husband and I returned here on our last night in Auckland together. It is close enough to shops, restaurants and the beach in Takapuna. The rooms are clean, spacious and have good views. The beds are really comfortable.

  Our place of work at north shore events centre. It takes exactly 10 min to walk to the centre if you go through the golf course. This was perfect for us. There was no super market closeby. The eating place saroynd was good with 5 restaurants but not cheap. It would cost about 25$ per meal. Jacuzzi was good in the hotel. Pool was not heated and out... what people say » door. But the place is good with big green grounds around and a ymca to work out free of charge. All in all a good one for us. - We enjoyed our stay at Poenamo hotel. The bed was super king size & very comfortable. The swimming pool & spa was very clean & big. The staff was very gracious & dedicated & made us very welcome. I will recommend Poenamo hotel to any traveler visiting Auckland.

  Only stayed here one night after a wedding but was perfect for what we needed. We stayed with our baby but seemed to be a great family place with mini putt and heaps of children playing on scooters and all the units face inwards so parents can sit out and relax while keeping an eye on children. - The facilities, although dated, they were more tha... what people say » n adequate.
