I booked this apartment 9 months before I needed it as my son was marrying a dutchgirl in Utrecht and another son, wife, and 4month old baby was travelling from California and arriving first. Myself and a daughter were flying in from different airports. I could not identify from photos which our apartment might be, and so was left hoping it would be OK. The location was central overlooking the canal, I walked from Central Station to Havaa. On arrival there was a big front door with doorbells m.
all reviews » I stayed at Havaa apartments several times and in several of their apartments. I especially like the apartments at the Plompetorengracht as they are very centrally located and yet quiet. But also the studios are great for a short stay as they are so centrally located (although they are a bit less quiet). I also like the friendly and flexible check-in and staff. In short: it's a perfect home away from home feeling for a short trip. It was close to the shopping area and main tourist attractions. Also near to public transport system. Also has many eateries nearby. My favorite place when I have to stay over for work. I love the freedom of my own studio apartment and the location is superb. The location is perfercet, the apartment is very well equipped, very spacious and luminous. The apartments are newly refurbished and in good condition. The location was excellent. Calm, peaceful ambient, very nearest to the city center. Convenient quiet location with all facilities available. Good Location Clean nice room Internet included. Great location. Location. There was a need for coathooks in the bathroom. Noise from people on the street was very audible. They especially like to scream early in the morning around 2 to 3:30 am waking me up and have difficulty sleeping again. The shared toilet is the hallway is the only small glitch. Not a real problem, but it doesn't fit the high standard of these apartments. The wifi system is often slow and sometimes the connection dies. Nothing but small annoyances such as not having a filter coffee machine and a dish washer. There is every comfort but I didn't find a couple of slippers in the apartment. There were everything since DVD player but the slippers that very quiet avaible in every very normal hotels, were not avaible in your location. Everything went very smoothly and we had no problems with anything. Toilet is outside the room. Shared with other guests. All the noise from the outside filtered into the room. So Noisy you can even hear people walking on heels like if they were on the next room. The bell of the Cathedral rang every hour during the whole day and night. It was a nightmare. Big airconditioning unit just outside the window, noisy. If I pay €100 a night for accommodation, I expect an en-suite toilet !!.
