Room was very clean, just what we needed for a stop off before headed to our next destination in the morning. Shower/toilet is in the room, me and my partner wasn't bothered, but might be a bother for some people if friends are sharing a room. there was discounts for local restaurants and cafes, we did the breakfast in the Park Café in the morning, good value and good food! will definitely stay here again or any othere Easyroom.
all reviews » Minimal but functional. Bed was comfy, everything worked. No problems with noise. It was clean and new. Location was great, easy walking distance from everything, but still a quiet pleasant location. Plenty of interesting stuff right near the hotel, Escher museum, Mesdag panorama, the shopping area, cafes, eateries and art galleries... It's the best budget option we could find. No frills but the basics are good. The rooms are small but the space is more than enough for everything as it is very functional and with a clever use of dead space. Even if your trip isn't strictly leisure, like ours, you will find everything you need to get set for a meeting. Hotel rooms with everything You need, well kept hotel. Can't complain. Easy access to town also Central train station, You walk everywhere from hotel, don't need any transport. I've no problem to come back again and stay in. The room was clean, good use of space. The matress was excellent and the 25% Discount at local eateries is a real bonus. The Breakfast next door at Parks is a good deal and the coffee much better than in the reception :-). The location couldn't be better, especially for its proximity to the Escher museum (amongst many other things). The rooms are very clean and no-nonsense with efficient use of space. The toilet and shower are in a frosted glass cubicle in the middle of the room so it doesn't feel very private, but it's not too bad. You have to pay extra to get the room cleaned. You pay for the whole thing up front. We ended up needing to leave early but it wasn't possible to get anything refunded. The sound insulation wasn't poor but we could hear people talking on the other rooms, but it had no influence on falling asleep. Could be worse for light sleepers to whom I'd recommend the use of ear plugs. A bit disappointing that I could only get 2 keys for a 3 bed room. The staff friendliness was variable, some good, some not so, but in the end, none were rude. The walls were a little thin, there was a baby in the room next door, definitely not quiet. A real minus is the inability to open the window and get some fresh air into the room. Smoking in front of the entrance of the hotel was annoying, but that is the same for all hotels. The sink was way too small. Everytime I washed my face the floor would be all wet. There was no bathmat so I had to put the spare towel on the floor (I was in a double room by myself.) I could hear someone practising piano for a few hours one night. It didn't really bother me much but wasn't ideal. Room was small. construction site right on the back of the house. they would also run machines during the night one time. Only one small thing, it would be nice to have cups in the room. There are plastic cups downstairs. Nothing not to like. Not Applicable. to keep prices down - they charge extra for everything: cleaning, facilities, breakfast, etc.. We stayed only one night, didn't notice anything bad or annoying while there. Everything was sufficient!. Nothing tobehighlighted. you can only enter the bed from one side so it's a bit difficult if you wake up at night and need to climb over your partner to reach the bathroom. it's a bit busy in the corridors but i think insulation between adjacent rooms was ok. Thin walls when it comes to sounds, but not disturbing. Wish the rooms were bigger. Shower, toilet and the bed all in one room only seperated by glass. My room was facing the street and this time I could ear the street sounds (cars, tram, etc) more clearly than on my first stay. It didn't bother me but it might be a problem for someone with very light sleep. there's no chance one can open a window lack of wordrobe. You can't open the windows because of air conditioning/ air circulation. Nothing. thin walls, no cleaning during the stay, expensive to store luggage. The price of the parking (in front of the Hotel the public parking is payed until 00h), but this is not the hotel's fault. not enough plug sockets, the room wasn't that well ventilated as each morning the shelf below the window was soaking wet. Parking is a bit expensive, but that's not because of the hotel. No parking in the hotel. Nearest is 10 minutes away. Shower didn't drain which caused flooding of the bathroom. no breakfast option, paper thin walls could hear everything being said in other rooms. not enough plug sockets, bathroom sink little. It was a really small room .. but for the price, it's ok!. was not sound proof, tram was right outside and could hear that all night long and could hear the people in the rooms around us talking. Public parking meters in the area do not accept coins nor VISA nor MasterCard. ONLY Maestro. And they're expensive. Luckily the hotel has got some places in the parking house nearby and charges only 15 EUR for 24 hrs stay (but you may not leave the parking within this time). Once you leave it you need to pay 15 EUR again. expensive parkingrates if you come by car. No parking for check-in, check-in time very late compared to other hotels (15:00). Parking in the area expensive. no ice machines and no food facility. Quite noisy, the room is quite small. check out at 10am no facilities like restaurant, breakfast, bike rental and other stuffs like an hotel. Even though is a comfortable and cheap hotel, the service is almost like a B&B. No breakfast. Although we like the minimalist concept, a small room "designed" in Spartan style caused a bit depressive comparison with a prison cell. Policy of cleaning the rooms after one week of stay. My room was at the front of the building, behind their big orange *all-night-light-giving* hang out bord. The curtain was good but there was still orange light coming into my room all night on the edges. small room: only 30 cm between edge of the bed and the wall to squeeze on another side of the bed; windows are not open, but the room is well air-conditioned. Sometimes you can hear people talking on other rooms, bathrooms are really nice but "poor" of privacy. The heating system didn't work properly There where no wardrobe in the room. Pillows too big, had a headache after them. Windows do not open, and air-conditioners do not provide enough fresh air.
