I cannot say enough about this little hotel. It was perfect for a group or family of 3-4. All separate beds if desired and extremely comfy. We stayed when they were having a special Eco organic breakfast and they had beautiful fruit, fresh made juices to order, pancakes, eggs and of course croissants to name a few things - everything fresh. The staff, from the night desk crew, the lovely manager, Karel, to the restaurant staff in the morning were excellent. There is coffee service right in lobb.
all reviews » I must stress the fact that Tally was fantastic. She was great all the way. She helped me keep my reservation, even though it was reported that my card was blocked. She spoke really politely in phone and showed her characteristics of a fantastic staff. I recommend her for promotion with immediate effect. I enjoyed the comfort of the bed, the cleaning ness of the overall internal and external environment, the humility and willingness of the staffs to help and particularly Tally again :). Wonder. The hotel is brand new, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and comfort. A major plus is the presence of a hotel parking with spaces for bicycles as well. The free coffee and tea served at the reception are quite refreshing. There is excellent wi-fi signal in each room. It is a good choice for Chinese tourists due to the fact that at least three Chinese TV programs are included in the offered list of TV channels and in addition there are issues of the "China Daily" in the lobby bar. The hotel design is great, a very fresh, young appeal in contrast to the stuffy, over-the-top fancy hotels. Service was great, staff were extremely helpful. The hotel is also located slightly out from the city center, which is fantastic if you need a quieter place (get a room facing the courtyard!). Yet there are trams and buses close by, and places are much shorter in distance than perceived on the map, even by walking. Keep up the good work guys!. The eco aspects of the hotel are genuine, in the construction and in all aspects of management and operations. Staff friendly, with personal attention from the owner/manager. Good free wifi connection in rooms and foyer, with excellent genuine free coffee available in the foyer at all hours. Excellent access toi central Den Haag and good bus and tram connections close by. The design of this hotel is modern and stylish. Parking is not great as you have to pay 15 Euro for it. But it is possible to park across the street for free (for obvious reasons, the hotel will not mention that). Free WiFi is very fast and the room is very well insulated: no street noises can be heard. Great!. - free wi-fi and coffee/tea in the lobby - breakfast is excellent - location is not bad. Bus 24 will take you to the centrum and to Hague Centraal. Tram 1 will take you to centrum and Hague HS. - close to Peace Palace. - you can leave your luggage in the luggage room. The room was very clean, internet was excellent and the sitting area in the reception with free coffee & tea is nice. There is a supper market, as well as various restaurnats on a walking distance from the hotel. The tram station is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. - Located very near to the centre of the Hague. - Palace of Peace and Justice is just a very short walking distance. I didn't like the fact that it was a bit far from the city centre, although there are buses to convey passengers. The closest, nearest tram line (17) is down due to road construction, but the next closest (3) does just fine. The rooms are slightly cramped for two persons, especially if one is working at the desk. - room is small - it is similar to Ibis. I asked for a coffee & tea facilities in the room, but they did not provide this service. The room was very small, as i could hardly find a place to put my bag. Finally, distance to down town is about 30 minutes walking, not 15 as mentioned in the hotel page. - Single rooms are quite small, although bed in my single room is larger than a single bed. The room is bit hot and it does not have air cooler. It is good for winter. The size of the room can be slightly bigger. the room is quite small. Nothing in particular. nothing to dislike. The hailed "eco-friendliness" is a bit superficial: each and every product (tea, coffee, food, body lotion) is "eco" and "fair trade". That's fine, but then the heat insulation in this renovated building does not seem to be at the height of expectations: the huge radiator needs to run full steam to produce some warmth in the room. The fact that there is no coffee facilities in the room. The room was a little bit small, but who is staying all day inside the room?. It was all good for the price!. I stayed only 2 nights and there was no problem. I was surprised by lack of any restaurant for evening in the neighbiurhood. N/a. The breakfast was a little more expensive for what was offered. Internet was not very realise. It took an hour to get connected. It is a bit far away from the city centre, but not too far for walking. I rented a bike for the day. the first one had a light falling off and so I swapped it. I did not realise until the evening that the second one - though the lights were in place - did not have working lights. Not ideal for cycling in a strange city. There was no heating in the bathroom, and the towels were flimsy. We got 2 seperate beds, but maybe that was our fault for not having notified them of the fact that we wanted a double one. The internet was slow and interrupting. The price of breakfast should be included. Local newspapers should be available in the lobby. N/A. A little ways from city center. About a half hour walk or you can take the tram for 3 euros each way which takes less then 10 mins. Charge for car park. Rooms are a bit too small for my standard, and apparently if you don't allow them to clean your room before 11 am it wont happen anymore during the day. No way to get a bit of fresh air into the room at night. The closest tram line is currently out of service for construction. the alarm in the morning resembling a fire alarm. the size of the room, no climatisation. Fairly long way from the city centre, more suited to business travellers maybe, but that goes fro Den Haag in general!. Small handbasin, lack of proper light for shaving. Expensive breakfast, not included. I arrived after midnight when the reception was closed. I was only let in because I knew somebody else in the hotel and got my key through the help of friends who called the emergency number. Afterwards I found an email giving me advice on how to enter but I had not the possibility to check my mail earlier... Not so great!.
