Hotel is located near waterfront. Everything is near hotel, shopping zone, walking areas, museums and etc.Very relaxing atmosphere, easy walking distance to town centre. It's very central to most places too (with great views of the Erasmusbrug on your doorstep) so that was a huge bonus for me.The hotel rate was very good which is why we chose it.It is not as central as other hotels,but everything is still within walking distance. They did not answer my request for details of the tram route to the hotel. However I did find that information was on their website,. Cannot think of anything. I noticed that they only have heavy bedding. I was loloking for something at night like a sheet to just have over me but they did not have any on staff. Pillows can be a little more firm, I had to sleep with two.No free parking (but I did know this in advance). Had to queue for bathroom.remote control of television not working. On the Friday evening it did get a little "rowdy" in the bar area but that was not the Hotel's fault, rather a man who had had too much to drink I'm afraid. The hotel was quite noisy late at night with people coming into their rooms and slamming doors at 2am onwards which did wake me a couple of times. Again not the hotel's fault, but the noisy people staying in it.It didn't have a fridge and mini bar. No air conditioning.. Room was claustrophobic. Small beds. my room had zero view, just a high window, worse still shaded by the building next door. Sharing shower and toilet. Having to try and listen for when vacant. I would have liked to stay in a room with the front view,even if I ought to reduce my stay with one day.view from room was of a beam holding up the building - not very nice and no hairdryer in room. Bar is a liitle bit cold and not cosy, more for workers than for family.Room window had been left marginally open which made the room incredibly cold when I got there. No thermostat in the room to regulate the radiator. hotel policy for payment on arrival wasnt declared on advance. we were content. room and bed are too small. Wifi in the room would be nice. the beds. no minibar in the room. having only one elevator for a hotel this size becomes an irritant during the breakfast hours. some problems with the bathroom ( liking water, thw awful smell), the sailors that stayed there werw sometimes rude, the food in the restaurant sometimes too spicy and no fresh fruits. Could do with tea of coffee facilities in room. No safe and not manyrooms with good view. But if there for 1 or 2 nights it is very good.
