When Greeted by the reception staff we were offered a free drink and some much needed information about Amsterdam. The rooms were newly refurbished and clean.   The location was really good and easy to get around the city. My room was spotlessly clean and I have no complaint whatsoever. On a quiet street and my room had a garden view. Rooms are smaller but this is normal for European cities. Expect that everywhere.   We stayed at the triple room. The room was nice and spacious, with a balcony to a courtyard. The location is good, 300 meters from Leidseplein: one of the most interesting areas of the city. It's within a reasonable walking distance from central station and there is plenty to do in the area if you decide to stay near the hotel. Perfect for couples and students.
