The staff from maintenance, to front desk to bartender were all wonderful. They had great personalities and were extremely helpful -- in addition, many were quite funny. The hotel has a convenient location -- far enough away from the noise, yet close enough to walk to everything -- museums, the main district, shops, and the park were within a 2 to 25 minute walk. beautiful hotel and rooms. - Anonymous

We had a great stay at this hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great - a good selection of different breads, cheeses and meat aswell as cereal, fruit and yoghurt. We would stay here again. - Carolyn

When we arrived we couldn't believe how nice it looked, very clean and comfortable. When Greeted by the reception staff we were offered a free drink and some much needed information about Amsterdam. The rooms were newly refurbished and clean. Overall, an affordable great place to stay. (P.s Watch out for bikes when crossing roads!) - Louise

Excelent location. Large and confortable three-bed room with a private garden on the ground floor. Hotel staff polite ans attencious. Good breakfast buffet for european patterns. Just watch out the fact that many tourists squeeze every single bread on the basket with their hands... and of course, don´t eat them all! - Rejane

The location was really good and easy to get around the city. My room was spotlessly clean and I have no complaint whatsoever. On a quiet street and my room had a garden view. Rooms are smaller but this is normal for European cities. Expect that everywhere. This is really a 3+star hotel(Villeroy and Boch dishwear), andan empty room refrigerator to fill as you wish. Breakfast was also good on the balcony. - Anonymous

Husband and wife team running this Hotel, very nice, had a pleasant stay, breakfast buffet was excellent. Room was small but so was the price. Very clean and well serviced rooms. - Niall

The weather was not great in amsterdam during our stay, but the hotel was perfect place to relax and meet other guests and so welcoming. It was the hightlight of our holiday and there were other enjoyable aspects to our stay in Amsterdam. I definitely want to return soon to the Roemar Hotel and have already recommended it to friends. - Mary

The friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are so polite and helpful. The location was excellent, central without being noisy. the rooms were small but had everything you needed, were safe, clean and warm. We really enjoyed our stay. - Rebecca

Everything! It was within walking distance of everything pretty much, it was clean, the staff friendly and helpful, breakfast hit the spot. Seriously well priced for all that. I would definitely stay there again. - Anonymous

The room was great. The owner was very nice and always helpful. It's within a reasonable walking distance from central station and there is plenty to do in the area if you decide to stay near the hotel. Perfect for couples and students. If I ever came back to Amsterdam, I'm looking up the sipermann first. - Anonymous

great place, very clean, very friendly people, nice bar, great location. my roommates were very nice and considerate, most people in by midnight and respectful of people needing to get up early, etc., not a bunch of loud partiers. one was even helpful when i got ill to the stomach. very good experience here (except the sick stomach part, but that's not their fault!) - bea

The hotel is in a very handy location. It is nicely renovated, beautifully decorated and in a quiet neighborhoodth. The bed was large and extremely comfortable. The air conditioning was also a plus. You can help yourself to a well stocked fridge for breakfast at your leisure. I would highly recommend this lovely BandB - Deborah
