everything! the service was excellent from the time we stepped through the doors. the location is central in a beautiful residential part of amsterdam, easily accessible to all must see tourist attractions, yet located safely away a few minutes from the hubbub with beautiful views. great bar, breakfast buffet or room service, dinner for dining in (but who wants to/no reflection on the chef) - Ron

Attentiveness of staff at front desk. Convenience of room - darkening drapes, amenities. I simply needed a room to sleep for a few layover hours between flights, it was very convenient. - Jacqueline

Hotel ideal for the traveler needing to stay at Schiphol airport for a lay-over or early departure. Hotel features electronic check-in, check-out, practical lobby bar with take away food and beverages. Rooms done in a futuristic design. All utilities are remote controlled. Elderly traveler might face problems here. Very well priced for the location, which is a 3 min. walk to the terminal building. - Jerry

We really loved the room. I was suprised that the facility was right on the money from your photos on line. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Hotel was right off one on the busy squares were people gathered to mingled, shop, or dine and that was a plus.The Boat Cruise was right down the street from the hotel which we used to tour the city canals. Although check in was not until 3pm, I arrived after a long flight at 10.00am. The receptionist, I'm sorry, but I dont know his name, he always smiles and seems to be always there,asked me to make myself comfortable in the lobby whilst he sorted something out. True to his word, within 15 minutes he had sorted a room for me and 10 minutes on I was fast asleep...Thank you! - Nigel

Very old world and full of personality. Staff was fantastic and very helpful. Food is wonderful, not run of the mill hotel menu. Hotel is on quiet canal, although right downtown. Easy to walk around to get anywhere. - Dr.

Excellent buffet breakfast at a fair price for Amsterdam - discount voucher supplied at no asking. Staff very accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. Location is excellent for shops and restaurants and access to canal bus hop on-hop off. Room was large, clean and very comfortable. - Trish

almost everything, staffs are incredible and helpful. we are 2 small ladies with 11 y.old children they upgraded for bigger room for us. Best location in a middle of walking street(Leidse straat) in front of tram stop (Leigse/primnsengrat). Hotel style is very Amsterdam (old) traditional style, very nice atmosphere. we got a street view and saw party activities on the street. - Apinya

the staff were so friendly and helped with every need , the room was spotless and the view from our room was beautiful , wee had breakfast every morning overlooking a beautiful cannal . what more could you want ? the hotel was in a good location with everything you needed within walking distance and a tram stop outside that went up and down to central station every 5min but this was also within walking distance . i would recomend this hotel to anyone traveling to amsterdam yound or old . - Pamela

the hotel was clean comfortable, and offered complimentary hot beverages such as coffe and tea with cookies, which mad tea time in the beautiful lobby enjoyable, staff was attentive and willing to help with directions maps and reservations, pass on breakfast at the hotel (not worth the 16 euro) and head to the broodie shop a few steps away! excellent breakfast/lunch options for as little as 4... - Susan

Cheerful Friendly Staff, Quietness of the rooms. Staff are very wellmannered and are always at hand to offer assistance, you don't need togo looking for someone for help, should you need it. Hotel is in analmost perfect location, close to all the kinds of Shops and markets.Pretty central, and only a few minutes walk to the Main Train Station. - Barry

really great value! This hotel is thanks to near tram station (15 minutes to city center) ideal for Amstrodam exploring.... Good breakfast as well as room comfort. - Jaroslav
