  The location is fabulous! Located about 100 meters from the main square in Sittard. There are 20 restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Being in Brunssum for business it was well worth staying out here due to the variety of options available after the working day. Eggs available on request and the cheese/meat/fruit/cereal/coffee options that you would expect an - I loved everything about it. Peace & tranquillity. Smiley people who want to help you. I have stayed in many, many hotels and so many countries - and Merici is perfect for a quiet few days. I shall come again.

  This Hotel is run by Family Rekko located in a quiet district near Helpoort. The elder gentleman (should be the owner) was nice, speaking slow but very clear English. At the first day we were the only two guests, but breakfast still well-prepared with boiled eggs and hot tea/coffee. Excellent service. - Each room was different, tasteful and clean... what people say » . The beds were comfortable, the staff friendly and the breakfast was delicious! The location is also great. There is an awesome restaurant around the corner. A bit off the beaten track, but close enough to walk everywhere. I will definitely go back to Rekko!

  We stayed in a 4-bed room. The room was a bit small but it was clean. We had clean sheets and towels (no need to bring yours). The hotel is located on a quite street so you can sleep comfortably. The breakfast was included in the price and it was very good. The price was also very good (similar to or even cheaper than a hostel). In the end, I think... what people say » it's better than staying in a hostel. - Breakfast was very good, one day I was at the end of the breakfast timeand a whole table with all the breakfast items was made for me. The nicewoman even made me a fried egg.
