  We loved this place in Franeker. It was just unique in every way. Right beside the canal with so many lovely old buildings that looked like they fell out of a post card. Beyond anything we even expected or hoped for. The perfect example of a historic Dutch town, even with moats and zig-zag canals. The staff was just as if we would have been close ... what people say » relatives. Taken care of us, as if we would have been royalty. Can hardly wait until we come back!!!
