What people say
The hotel was in the location where we wanted to be. the room was large, comfortable and clean with a view over part of the town. the brakfast buffet had a good selection. including a warming device that kept boiled eggs hot but not hard. Best of all was the staff. Suzanne, Amelia and others are university students who speak excellent English, are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed them!. the closeness to the rail station, muis sacrum, lux theatre which were the main object of the visit.Being in the city centre and close to the night life did also help. I have to give extra comment on the excellent assistance from the staff who were very informative on locating certain destinations we required.all reviews »

This was my third trip to this hotel - it is a great location. Whilst I was here on business, it would also be a good base for a holiday. The staff made the effort to get a second baby cot for us as they only had one at the hotel. - Greatly appreciated. Nice friendly people, good position - easy 5 minute walk from the station. Everything was very pleasant. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. Room was very comfortable, big and nice. Nice modern hotel in a good location. Close to Station and City centre, good cold breakfast selection, near busy road intersection but I didn't notice the traffic.easy going staff, the place is perfectly sited in the centre and near NS / bike rente;. nice central location, free wireless internet.very comfy beds! breakfast was very good. Staff were helpful. I stayed for 2 nights.Staff were freindly and helpful. Rooms were very clean, good size and warm (cold November weekend). Buffet breakfast was very good. Location was excellent and was close to main railway station, city center sights, restaurants and bars. Overall a good stay. the hotel was charming, reflecting the nature of the city and it's people.Breakfast area too small. There was nothing I did not like about the Apollo Hotel and I plan to stay there again whenever I make another visit to Neijmegan.Bathrooms small, sink not in the bathroom, rather in the bedroom.
W/C 's in the hall smelled walking up the hall way. no aircondition. it does not have a lift so not so good for disabled people. rooms to hot had to keep windows and doors open due to this it was very noisy. Breakfast was in the hotel lobby! and the usual complaint about lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The rooms in front where troubled by noice of yong people shouting in front of the hotel. Ask for rooms at the back site.noise outside. impossible to sleep with the window open. music, people shouting etc until 4.00 am. In future i would only ever want to stay in a room at the rear of the building. the shower was a bit awkward to use.Breakfast was a bit basic but ok, however, I would not want to have thissame selection if staying for a week. The hotel does not have a car-park(as noted in their info), there is limited and reasonably priced localparking but this could be a problem. Only problems was the small reception desk with the attcahed breakfast area. No other hotel facilities as such. This is a minor point and did not effect our stay at the Apollo as we spent a lot of time out of the hotel, as I suspect most tourists who are sightseeing would.
