The room was big (though not as big as they say) with a very high ceiling. We enjoyed the spa features of the room: the double rain showers, the bubble bath and the in-room sauna. The breakfast buffet was simply amazing. the entire experience of staying at your hotel was superb. Friendly staff, excellent food, and very clearn and inviting environment. almost everything. nice rooms. great bathrooms. quiet. excellent breakfast. but you pay for all this,no?.

The hotel website is in Dutch only, and no English information is available in the hotel. except for the suite..all rooms have 2 single beds...very disappointing when you want to sleep with your wife...no close contact allowed in holland?..don'T understand this policy. Curtains could be darker/thicker Location is convenient but not very nice. The beds are uncomfortablr. We both fell out. It is because of the topper. One need a topper over Both beds. City center not reachable by walking. My personal taste tends more towards "light and airy" than the very trendy and modern, yet quite dark interiors. size of bed was small size of room was small. Offer a small jug of fresh milk to go with the tea making facilities for the British guests and they will love you for it. Location did not allow easy access to Middelburg. nothing. No facilities, such as pool, gym, spa. No transfers available to/from station. Nothing to report. Rooms could do with a bit more light although pleasant the lighting was poor to work in The menu could be a bit more extensive for the price The waiting staff presenting the food should have been able to describe the dish in English ESpecially after I stopped him twice to explain I did not understand Dutch - at least could have just served the main course - I felt belited by this attitude that I was a lesser mortal as I did not understand Dutch - a bit humiliating to be honest. not easy to find.
