The room was a good size, nicely furnished and with a working tv. The
bathroom was really nice too, very clean and had a hair dryer. We loved
our stay here as it was right next to the flower markets so it was easy
to find our way there (once we already knew where it was) and it

Excellent location, all the attractions/places to visit are within 5-10 mins walk of the hotel. A canal tour and coffee shop are situated right outside the door.
We had the double room with private bathroom, very spacious and comfortable. Also a little rooftop terrace with beautiful views.

We booked expecting a room in a guest house and were stunned to find a beautifully decorated and comfortabe room overlookingt the Amstel river. In addition we also had exclusive use of the whole floor leading tou own coffee ad tea making machine and shower and changing room. Really freindly welcome by Ken. Our family room was very large with a double bed, a single bed and two very comfortable sofas;an additional bonus was that you could slide double doors across to separate into two individual bedrooms. Gijs was an excellent host. He helped us before arrival and during the stay. We loved the character of the house (we stayed in the loft room). It was very close to everything in Amsterdam. Rather than feeling like a tourist staying in a hotel, we felt like we are staying in our own house. Perfect value for money! Amazing breakfast.

freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs of choice, salmon, cheeses, fruit,

Dennis and Martine were wonderful hosts. Dennis is, in his wife's own words, the entertainer!!! The free private boat trip/history lesson was great. My girlfriend and I loved it!!!!! I ended up steering the boat on a hot sunny afternoon and I cannot think of a better way of seeing the city. Freshly cooked bread is delivered to you every morning and a free well stocked fridge on arrival is a very nice touch.
