We had booked a small double - which was definitely small, however for our 3 night stay, this was perfect for us.   The hotel was a block from the Rijksmuseum -- the breakfast room looked across the street to the back archway. We were two blocks from the Van Gogh Museum, and on the tram and bus lines that led everywhere. We were able to take a BUS to and from the airport by walking a few steps. I suspect we had the best room in the place, a large double on the lobby flo - Let's be clear - this is a budget hotel. Basic furnishings, shared bathroom. Three major museums no more than 500 m away, canals also, supermarket nearby, plenty of food options, and the wonderful vondelpark. Good basic breakfast. Bed comfortable. Clean facilities. Good vibe.
