  I thought Hotel Ajax was a fantastic place to stay, Always had clean towels and sheets + toilet was cleaned regular within the 5 days i stayed here. Staff were extremely friendly...... From other reviews i had came across saying infested with rats and all that other complete bull that is all lies. Would stay here again, value for money.   The room was spotless,the bed so comfortable.Cushions if you want to read in bed or watch TV,a large flat-screen with a teriffic picture.The walk-in shower was great too,along with the air -conditioning.There is a safe for peace of mind. The breakfast has everything one needs,so much so that you may skip lunch. On ch - We stayed at the Clemens for three nights in November and enjoyed everything about our stay. Great location - we walked everywhere. When arriving in Amsterdam, we walked from the station to the hotel about 10 minutes but did take a cab to the airport when we left; the hotel made arrangements for us.   I had a fantastic stay. Staff was extremely nice, helpful and friendly. The room was clean and nicely decorated.   The hotel was very nicely located. The tram stop right outside took you right into the center of Amsterdam and it was only a 15 minute journey! We were also told that surrounding shops gave you a discounted service just for staying at this hotel! So that was pleasant. There were also many local shops, supermarkets, fast-food restaurants, ATM machi... what people say » nes and bakeries within a 5 minute walking distance. We also found a very good coffee shop just a 5 minute walk away. The hotel itself was very clean - we are married couples with a child 1 years old. The hotel is sooo nice, clean, simple and modern, friendly staff, beside restaurants and super markets, discounts I can get in many shops if I make online check in, beside a tram station, the position is so nice.Perfect for the price, although the price is not including in it changing towels or cleaning service or the TV, but I still found I dont need these things If I just use the hotel for sleeping
