The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and tidy. It is based right in the very centre of Harleem. Great value for money , very good location , pleasant staff and very nice breakfast included in the good value for money price. central location and staff very helpful. Very good hotel for its price. Small and budget, but clean and quite comfortable. We traveled during off-season, so the owner was very friendly and even gave some unexpected reductions. The location is perfect.

Why pay for an expensive hotel and spend most of your time out and about when the Amadaeus is more than adequate to rest your head (comfy beds) at night and fuel up in the morning! Also no car park - this was clear on the information supplied on website but we had not expected Dutch car park fees to be so different from UK (cost about 30 euros for 24 hours). For the price the room was quite small and fairly basic. The lift ponged of cat!!. The bathroom was very small concerning that I had a twin room. size of room. the room, was small and the fact that there was no where to sit other than the dinning room. Too much noise. It was impossible to sleep at night.

Parking in the Centre

The magnificent city centre of Haarlem was built long before cars were invented. Consequently there is very little parking space in the narrow city centre streets. There are no longer any free parking places in the centre of Haarlem.

The Zuidtangent is a connection between Haarlem and Schiphol Airport Plaza. The Zuidtangent is a free lane for buses only. Because of that, the bus rides will go fast and according to plan (every 10 minutes). Busstop within 100 metres from hotel.
