although a late arrival and with no reservation we were accommodated in the hotel restaurant were we experienced excellent cuisine. the friendliness and efficiancy. Staff were great, made to feel very welcome. The rate we got for our boooking made this stop great value. Welcomoing atmosphere. Conveniently placed on ring road, but quiet location. Easy access to city of Arnhem, Open Air Museum and the National Forest area. Staff friendly. Typical, modern, business type hotel. Plenty of parking.Could do with access to english television - as my Mother is registered disabled and cannot go out for a full day and then in the evening as well, this would have made her stay much better. Courteous, helpful staff. Good location for travelling within Netherlands by car.The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful to the ex paratroopers who went to Arnhem for the September Bridge Too Far anniversary. The restaurant was very good although a higher price tahn expected. breakfast was very good.Bar menu good. Convenience for getting around the area.Price only if you get the hot deals:). The breakfast on the saturday was excellent. Rooms a little tired, not able to get a similar rate two weeks after stay. Very difficult to get to certain rooms. No elevator (to many of rooms),lots of stairs means many trips back and forth with luggage if travelsare with family/kids. Felt like hotel was more designed for businesspurposes than family. Room was very small and double room means two twinbeds not two queen beds which was very disappointing.Bar closing at 12am!. No coffee making facilities in room.I was very disappointed to find that the room had no tea/coffee making facilities as this would have made our stay much more enjoyable. Room facilities were sparce.Hugely overpriced for what it was - 16 Euros each for breakfast. Roomonly set up for 1 person instead of two - when I queried this thereceptionist said that is how they do it and I could find towels etc inthe closet (I had already done so). Never had this before at any otherhotel. They did the same thing the next day too. If you are in roomsstarting with a 5 be warned there is no lift. Evening meal was v. expensive. No BBC service on TV.Far from the city center-. The bed was creaky and quite uncomfortable. I decide 1 noght longer and was very much suppriced, because I had to pay extra 20 euro for the room. blocked parking indicating "full" however lot was empty and could stand outside at 2am for 15 minutes before someone would push a button at the desk.
