  Me and wife stayed there for 3 days. If someone is travelling with low budget I guess this hostel is the best option. Located in the heart of the city from where you can walk to any major location. Canal taxis and trams almost 5 mins away. Staff was amazing from reception counter to bar tenders. Amazing and friendly personalities. So I had a good ... what people say » time there and will definately dropping by soon. - There was a great atmosphere at the flying pig whether it be really relaxed or a party in full swing! Nice place to meet people from all over the world! I also loved the quirky decor and staff where great, always very helpful! Its in fantastic location too, really couldn't ask for any better! I would definitely return

  Confortable and large dorms. Many bathrooms and toilets, quite clean. The wi-fi works all over the place and the breakfast is just great (included).   I loved the food at the restaurant, very delicious. The 25% discount was a great bonus, as well as the discounts on drinks. Our room was really cool and the art everywhere was very interesting. The location was awesome and the staff was friendly & helpful. The best part, in my opinion, was the music. And even some pretty designs -- that's saying something for a hostel! Bar seemed good too though I didn't get to join that fun. Though my stay here was brief, this was one of the best hostels I've stayed at.

  The hostel was clean and quiet. We were on the first floor and did not hear any noise all night. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly enough.   I came late at night and the building receptionist took me to the floor where the hostel was and showed me around and I actually checked in and paid in the morning. You can tell that the hostel is located in the pretty new building and therefore there is a lot of space in showers, toilets and common room. Btw, its the nicest common room I've seen... what people say » --there are table, so you can eat, sofas, big flat screen and A LOT of dvd's if you want to watch a movie. On the arrival they give you a code that' - the stuff are really nice. They have kitchen and fridge. The design of the hostel is really nice even the toilets are decorated(one is hello kitty !!) the bathrooms and the toilets are clean. They have a public computer. They have also socket adapters for other countries. The beds are also clean. And only girls, this is really nice!! And the key of the door is code.It's near the train/metro station. There is a cheap supermarket around(lindi? I forget the name).you can see movies in living room

  The place of the boat is excellent, the owner was really lovely and helpful. However don't expect luxury - it's a little boat not a 5 star hotel after all. So the single cabin is really tiny, but clean. And though the breakfast was more than adequate for me, the others might not like it. In general it is really a good de - This is a good price/quality accommodation. Staff is friendly and will help you with anything you need. This is great if you need to crash somewhere in Amsterdam near central station and downtown! The rooms are a bit old/basic and come with 1 power outlet. The bed is around 1mtr from the ground which gives plenty of room underneath it. There is free wifi internet (speed is ok) but its only available in the public area.

  We stayed 2 nights there, there was an overbooking so they had to place us in a triple room rather than a twin bed one but nobody bothered us there, it was just me and my husband in the room. The people at the reception were fluent in english and gave us all sorts of great information about what to do and what not to.
