My wife and I stayed at Breitner House in Mid-July...and, yes, the weather was beautiful for our stay but even if it had have poured rain for the entire weekend I think we would have been happy not to leave our fantastic suite for the 4 days!!! I don't really know where to start but here goes -

Through out my trip, this is the best place I stayed! It is like a Palace, so romantic,royal, elegant,artistic and full of good spirit and culture. it just make me say "WoW"! The room is so spacious and grand. The bathroom is also very spacious and beautiful. We had an excellent stay during our 3 nights at Park 9. It is in a beautiful setting across from Sarphatipark, in a very nice part of Amsterdam. The house itself is really nice and the bedrooms are of the highest quality that you will find in Amsterdam. Peter and Robert as hosts could not make you feel more welcome and if you are not familiar with the City, they will give you great advice on what to do and see which is really helpful for those who have little experience of Amsterdam. It is only 20 minutes on the tram from Dam Square located in a pretty street. A substantial, varied breakfast is delivered to your door daily with fresh coffee and orange juice. Gijs was an excellent host. He helped us before arrival and during the stay. We loved the character of the house (we stayed in the loft room). It was very close to everything in Amsterdam. Rather than feeling like a tourist staying in a hotel, we felt like we are staying in our own house. Perfect value for money! Amazing breakfast.
